Big Blue was in hauling mode today. Not a dump run, but a pickup run to the local DPW for a couple loads of compost for our Memorial Day project. A new raised bed garden. I came up with this idea earlier this spring, and the better half took me up on it. Finally stopped raining long enough to finish it yesterday, so had to fill it today.

Mr. Zogs!!!

You brought me back to 1980 on Galveston Island surfing thrash waves on a custom-made twin-fin swallow-tail board.

I still have that Sunliner board and remember watching the guy laying the fiberglass on it.

lost a fin but not those glory day memories

David, my wife used to surf on a board just like this back in the day.

Looks like you have everything needed....just load it all up in the bed and that will lower it enough !!!

Drove up to Backbone Rock Recreation Area to fly fish a creek I had not been to before. It did not disappoint. Best day ever fly fishing in Tennessee. One of th e prettiest streams I’ve ever fished and had plenty of trout. Caught 23 rainbows and 5 of my targeted wild brown trout. One nice fat rainbow about 16” and a 15” wild brown on back to back casts.

In a rare oversight fishing was so amazing I forgot to get a pic of the truck. About a 2.5 hour trip for me each way. Got a hair over 24 mpg on the trip.

Paddled about 7 miles in kayak. Bed extender worked great, pulled 4 quick release clevis pins and locked parts in bed about 2 minutes. Ramp was busy so I didn't get pics at the dock
