Seems like it is the guys who had a bad experience in the past, or guys who have never owned one dont like them. Seems like everyone who does own Taurus loves it to some extent 😆
Got myself a Taurus Raging Hunter in .44 w/ 6.75 inch barrel. Say what you want about Taurus, this gun slaps. Recoil is easy and comfortable to manage.
There were shafts everywhere and at one point they were all sealed in some way. It looks like someone went through and opened them back up.
But to be fair, the smell was so foul coming out of most of them I dont think a lot of people are going into them.
Already got that one taken care of. I try to ignore the forums and just drive my Ranger but sometimes the forum induced paranoia gets to me.
Luckily this was a me induced problem and it didn't damage anything(that I know of)
Was still having the wrench icon come on with code P0299....
Found the real culprit .... The plug for the injection port located on the bottom side of the CVF cold pipe had fallen out at some point...found a replacement bolt and put some red loc-tite on that thing to make sure it never comes...
Whatever one plugs into the timing sensor on top of the engine. I asked them to show me exactly which one. Looks based on the grime around it looks like it was out of line a little bit...

So false alarm on that one...
Was driving home on the freeway cruising @ 70mpg coming form some wild west adventures with some light off-roading when suddenly I got the dreaded. Wrench Icon "See Manual" and it goes into Limp Mode.
So I pull over check everything I can, start it back up and it acts like everything is fine...
This is true! I generally read very little into peoples personal opinions on stuff I enjoy. But there is always that one guy.
My buddy works for SilencerCo and was pushing me for a Hybrid 46. Might end up with that.
Also that was one thing I noticed, the trigger is a bit heavy, I was looking...
Finally found a Marlin 1894 Dark Series in .44 Mag that I had been looking for. Been my dream gun for awhile, and I am loving it this far.
Some say it's blasphemy to take a old school lever action and turn it into a modern "tacticool" version without the wood grain.
Personally I love the look...
Well not quite, count and dose are not always related and you need a different measurement for dose rates. My meter is not calibrated for that specific function.
It's always important to remember that CPM(Counts Per Minute) and Dose Rate are not always directly linked. It is dependent on the...
