Ran over to Lowes to get stuff to finish some driveway repairs and also to reglaze the garage window.

Then got gas and tried out the nifty 2.5 gallon fuel can that @Grumpaw suggested. It fits perfectly in front of the wheel well and easily straps in with a Velcro strap through the tie down.

Soon they'll be no room for dump run loads! =p

most important thing are the smoked sausages for me and Cheech! =)

well mannered Ranger owners put their carts in the cart corral (plus it gives us an excuse to gaze upon our awesome trucks and stick our nose up at nearby Tundras ...)

Jut some truck stuff. Ranger got a nice compliment from a Chevy Colorado owner at the tire store. He was basically happy with his truck but wishes it had a garage door opener button. Some times it's the small things.

Ironically those rear tractor tires didn't come from tractor supply. I stopped there for some hydraulic and gear oil. Front tractor tires are on back order. :frown:

I had to drive into town to drop something from work off at UPS. on the way out of the parking lot I saw a rusty heavily lifted and heavily squatted (this isn’t the weird part) early 2000s gm 2500 or 3500 with a 4 or 5 foot light bar drilled directly into and across the middle of the hood. I don’t think it does much Since the nose of the truck points to the sky. The things people do make me laugh.

Went to Lowe’s to get my lumber for my simple sleeping platform for bed of truck. Dinked around 20 minutes couldn’t get any help even after asking for it. Went to Home Depot found what I needed, got help, got it cut to fit in the topper and was out of there in 15 minutes. I guess Home Depot gets my business until they piss me off ?????

Home Depot here is usually cheaper than Slowes and has the items stocked better.

Another plus is I get to drive the Ranger an extra 1/2 mile each way.

Drove over Going to the Sun Road in Glacier National Park.

Somebody in a Maverick parked next to me at one of the overlooks.
Wow, almost no snow left. Great views from there (well, everywhere in GNP) and that green is really nice... with a matching topper.

I'm guessing by the mud on both trucks that they still haven't finished the road repairs down by Lake McDonald ?

Thanks! It's the special Jungle Splash Edition color. First car I've owned that I actually like the color of, rather than just tolerating it.

Yep. Still about 8 miles of dirt road along the lake.

Spent a few days in Banff. My girlfriend and I shook down our new Gazelle T4 Plus Overland. My son bunked in the Gazelle T4 Overland we upgraded from. We had great weather.

Fairly loaded for this trip. Three large camp cots take up a lot of room. Two large hub tents, and a screen room - all sat on top of the bed rack.
IceCo fridge, cooking gear, and camp essentials in the bed.

We packed three hikes into three days. So many amazing views!

Another trip to the tire store for my backordered tires. The guy said they sent the wrong ones, not the standard 3 rib ag tires we ordered. When I saw them I decided that they had in fact sent the rite ones. Much better than what I ordered. They are a perfect match for an old tractor.

Ranger took a trip to the Flagstaff Sam's club...Loaded up the "goodies" and drove home. Now....where do you put 20 rolls of paper towels in an RV with limited storage options... Ok and the 30 rolls of TP as well... Sigh....

Best,
Phil
