Vanilla ice cream to make a float. :D

I haven't tried the new Dr Pepper flavor yet.
Well I meant booze of course, but still a good idea.

Also, This new dr pepper is basically guilt free, liquid cocaine that won't leave you homeless and doing favors for money.

Midly addictive though.

If it was regular Dr Pepper it would have rum in it.

Towed the race trailer home and lost the keys between hooking up on the runway and getting home. So, the trailer is stuck to the truck for now. At least we washed the trailer on Friday, so it doesn't look bad next to the truck.

I did find the keys. When I jumped into the trailer at the house to look for a lost phone that may have been in it (the phone wasn't in it) the keys were unknowingly with me with me and not in the truck. They ended up falling onto, and then into, a "milk crate" that we use to protect the timing lights at finish, due to the pouring rain I didn't hear that. The next weekend I started to move everything thinking maybe they fell to the floor between stuff in the trailer. As I was moving the timing light I heard a jiggle of something sliding on the diamond plate in it... yeap the keys.

This last weekend was the long haul for the trailer to NCCAR in Garysburg, NC, about 300 miles round trip. I did stop at a scale. 11,300lb total weight. about 6,200lb (5,620 axles + ~575 tongue) of that the trailer. Of the weight limits of the Ranger my closest was the rear axle, 3,180lb of the 3,370lb limit. On the way there averaged about 13MPG by the truck display on the way there, I've not loaded the actual fills up for those numbers. I didn't even get to stay at NCCAR for the event, I had to go to ViR for the Hoosier Super Tour and work that event.

This was technically Sat, not today ?.

Took my first road trip. Went to Dallas to watch the Dallas Stars play the Vegas Golden Knights. Truck performed flawlessly. Comfortable ride, and I discovered I CAN use my Ipod in conjuction with having my phone plugged in for Android Auto, happy camper ?! On the way back I was able to see the full function of the auto lights working. On the dark areas of the turnpike I was impressed with the auto high beams when they would come on and turn off. I was even impressed with how well the fogs were for stock halogen fogs. Now I have to wash it today ?.

Ran over to my local Amish store to pickup poop and compost

Then on the way home some idiot tried sideswiping my poor little Ranger with a super duty on a sharp corner . About the 2 minute mark. Got the companies name and number from the video and called to report the driver. It was the boss and he had dropped his cell phone. Distracted driving. Sorry for the cursing as I was mad.

This is why everyone needs a dash cam.

It has been over 50 years since a close call like that for me. My poor wife was shaking for 1/2 hour. Surprised the Ranger handled it so gracefully with the coating of winter sand still on the roads up here. Cell phone distraction.
