Wow, that snow is getting low. All my friends and family in Crestline through Big Bear are getting hammered and the highways are closed.
As low as 1500 feet in so areas

Stopped at the local Ford dealer with Pepper today. February is almost over and just realized my garage calendar is 2022 version. Last year got 2 there, Ford trucks, and vintage Fords. This year, 2023 they only have 1...new Ford vehicles. The first pic is a beautiful Ranger! 2022 Splash "Snow Edition"...

Did nothing with her which seems no big deal, right? I have driven her 2 times this week, but drove other trucks and cars a lot. They were not bad at all and I liked them.
But I have withdrawal symptoms now ?
I look for my Ranger when it’s not there and all the time something is missing, wrong. It’s always been like where am I there’s my Ranger.
Tomorrow I have to get some relief!

I've always wanted to level my Ranger... started getting a bit of a Carolina squat though!

That didn't last after unloading the dirt I brought home for my garden beds!

It doesn't look like a lot of dirt but that's a skid-steer bucket full! The truck handled it fine but I did notice my headlights shining a bit higher than usual.

Drove back to Mexico today for another dental visit. It's a 360 mile trip and even though it's a super boring drive (no scenery) it was still fun driving the Ranger and it made tome go by fast. Hopefully no more trips back for another 4-5 months while everything heals.

Duke @DukeCanBuildit this is pretty much the boring view for most if the I-8 drive.

Some people have made fun of me for permanently carrying my recovery gear in the back of my truck. Today I had the last laugh as I was able to rescue a 2wd 4Runner that had gotten stuck in the snow (in the Bay Area of all places!).

I tried my recovery boards first but they were dug in too deep and I didn't feel like digging. One good tug with the ARB snatch strap and they were free to go. No problem at all for the Ranger.

My wife was directing traffic so unfortunately we didn't get a good action shot.

Drove 70 miles home through a snow storm. 94 was pretty brutal tonight. Thankfully 4WD and good traction control. Truck was very planted and handled great, esp on the stock highway tires.

picked up the 5g from the dealer. got it washed. re set all my settings they flashed. Ive decided to name the transmission separately from the truck. from this point forward Abby's transmission will be named Karen. also can be referred to or identified as "The Karen" lol.

i mean the Karen does have a shaft... but chooses to act like a B%^&H. Therefore, to respect Karen I will use neutral pronouns like Ze/Hir/Hirs...
If Karen does not act correctly - I am going to slap they them.
