Just electrical Gremlins.An exciting mini dump run! Since our thrash pickup day was a snow day, we don't get pickup for another week. The two of us fill up our 65-gallon thrash can and our 65-gallon recycling can weekly, so thank goodness for a Ranger!
But, as exciting and complete a story as that is (you can now log off with total fulfillment from your screen time), I swung by the grocery store to get some cases of water (by the way, I used an entire can of de-icer to get my tailgate to open and to roll up the tonneau cover).
When I came out, the keyless entry wasn't working. So I manually unlocked the door. But the unlock button wasn't working, so the tailgate was still locked.
Then I put the key in the ignition but it wouldn't start. No Ford logo, no lights, no nothin'! =(
I've read about that with others but can't remember why it does that.
A few tries later and it did come to life and start.
This would really suck during a zombie apocalypse—so refresh me as to what this is about? =(

I was driving down the road and passed a ranger lariot tremor today. First time I've seen another one down here, even on the lots... They must be pumping them out in Michigan... Or the snow birds are bringing them all with them... Bastages.Getting serviced. Saw 4 new rangers for the first time in a while.
