Of course the message appeared in app after battery was reconnected after waiting and everything else was checked already before.
Did I mention it’s cold, dark and raining outside? By the sea?
So yes, did few things with my truck today. Didn’t enjoy much though, but I’ll melt by the morning.

Good luck! Keep us updated!
Thank You! I will.

Since I didn’t get correct oil level info yesterday from warm engine and dipstick showed too much oil I rechecked today again before I take her to dealer tomorrow.
No picture and didn’t happen?

Took it to the beach for a tailgate seafood buffet.(It’s the simple things:wink:)

Perhaps I just need to keep parking backwards. Pretty good job if I say so myself!:turkey:

Dang it! I miss living on the Gulf Coast (Louisiana and Texas) and I really miss gulf oysters.

Keep posting pics, I can live vicariously through you! =)

What a great use of a tailgate. That setting is awesome. The shrimp look like they might be a bit spicy.
Appreciating the simple things makes life so much better.

Picked up this 63 galaxie 500 on Monday. 352 with a cruiseomatic. I am guessing total weight was around 6500lbs. It definitely pushed the truck down hills. Told uhaul I was loading a mustang haha.

November here should be sunny and warm, but on our public holiday yesterday it was freezing cold with bouts of rain and hail all day. So we went out into the bush with the family to this old hut, made a roaring fire in the open fireplace, ate, drank and enjoyed each other's company. The kids tried some gold detecting but had to settle for old bullets and tin cans. Good times!

PS. You can use the 240V outlet in the Ranger to power a Masterbuilt smoker!

I helped a tailgater stop on the highway. His Jetta was pouring coolant and not looking so good.

That's a bummer.
I'm guessing that it's an optical illusion, but the Ranger lettering on your tailgate looks raised, not recessed. Am I seeing things?

The lettering on my tailgate popped out when I removed my tailgate damper. Just kidding, optical illusion.

Looking at the bumper in daylight, I’m pretty sure I can pull it back into shape. My truck gets used and abused, so I’m not too worried about it.

Hi Folks,

Yesterday the Ranger was pressed into service to help a neighbor who is vision impaired. Seems his post lamp light burned out but a new bulb did not work. So he called me as our HOA Nazi would issue a violation for a non working post lamp. The lamp socket was 22 years old and filled with dead insects, grit etc. Time for a new one, but he would have to wait to his wife got home to head to the hardware store, and by the time they got the new socket it would be too dark to replace and he can't see to do the job anyway. This makes him vulnerable to a Nazi attack...

So I dismantled the post lamp and got the old socket out, having to cut it out in pieces. Then went home and got the Ranger and picked up the neighbor for a trip to True Value Hardware. New socket in hand we headed home where I installed it in the head stock of the post and added the needed ground wire that was missing from the old socket... Then to wait for the photocell to kick in and Vola! It worked.... So the Ranger saved the day!

Best,
Phil

Phil, it always feels nice to help a neighbor out.
Hate HOA attacks! We have somebody in the neighborhood that reports people who park there RV for more than a couple days. Who does that?
