Duke I would bet that it never leaked, squeaked, rattled or anything like if it was built this day and age.

That is a beauty for sure. :like:
I bet you’re right. There was another cool Ford….

I’m no expert but I think those upper grill openings suggest 1948/49 and one is the latch release for the hood.

Thought I’d start a thread to post about what you have done with your Ranger today or any day for that matter!

Be it hauling, towing, off-roading, mall crawling, grocery getting, tire roasting, flexing on Toyota’s or anything else.

If you did, it let’s see it!
Washed and waxed. Took me 4 hours to do the Ranger and the wife's Mazda B-Series. Plugged those pesky holes in the rocker panels. Added the missing tow hooks those cheapskates left off and have an engine cover to fit thanks to @FordLevittown.

Horsies decided to take an unscheduled walk out from the pasture so today I spend the early morning driving around the small roads looking for them. After I spotted them I used my Ranger for transporting the search parties back to the horses, then it was time to walk them back to the pasture and finally repair the fence. Everything beats 10 mile walk in the morning :p

Drove through a foot and a half of water rushing across the road on my way home from work. Flash flooding this afternoon. Thanks to you wonderful people I knew not to go through it too fast and frag the alternator. :like:

Installed the engine cover and got the Line-X Premium done. That's it now for a while, run out of money

Hi Folks,

Today my Ranger, Margie and I ventured to the Octopus Car Wash. The Ranger was very nervous as it was its first real car wash in many months. It came out all nice and shiny with chrome package glistening. The car wash is behind Coach's Sports Bar and Grill, so we had a couple Beers and burgers and then home to the garage all nice and clean. Bak Revolver X4 performed well...no water in the bed. AND...the car wash did not strip off the roof antennae as I trust Ford with our specific Car Wash testing...something my engineers did for many years when I had the knobs and controls on Ranger.

Best,
Phil
