Hi Folks,

My Ranger transported me and my wife and my Tortoise Tito to our local News Paper which was creating articles on unique Arizona Pets. So here we were, at the front desk of the newspaper with the Editor and the reporter. I am holding Tito...so what did he do? He released his bladder on to the floor...So after the clean up on aisle 2 we begin the interview of what is like to live with a desert tortoise. We move outside and Tito decides to poop for the first time in about 7 months of burmatin. Sheesh...stipid tortoise could not hold it? It made for a great interview as the reporter fell in love with Tito... So our constipated Tortoise is no longer in that category. And it is likely he is front page news for the next edition... All in all a good day for us and my cause to get captive desert tortoise adopted into families.

Side bar. Titio's poop was an indication of a very healthy tortoise... no vet required... So if you have a constipated tortoise...take it for a Truck ride... My Ranger did its job very well!

Went for several miles of cruise loop around beach to listen to new tweeters and adjust overall sounds. So, have replaced 4 door speakers and now tweeters with Kicker brand and I give them a double thumbs up over standard Ford setup, plus sound quality is like "something broke" to " an 1874 lead crystal Italian wine glass just broke touching a sink edge"...:)
You still sporting the factory radio? Got a thread going for this yet? Definitely got my interest!!! ?

Dropped off some stuff for the Mixed-gender Scouts. Road & weather in nice condition. Would be nice to say that loaded stuff and headed to the wilds, but truth is that this is about 3 miles from home so I just put on the sneakers and drove to there.

True North took me to an early appointment to quote on a fence replacement - gotta love those folks who put raised flower beds against their fences and use the fence as the rear wall. ??‍♂

Then I stopped at a nearby roofing supply company to pick up a half dozen boxes of gutter screens for a siding and gutter contractor who lives a short walk from my cottage, saving him a trip here (3 hrs each way). It’s always a good idea to help out a guy who lives near your cottage when it’s closed up for five months each year. Am I right?

Then, my trusted Ranger dropped me off at Shopper’s Drug Mart for my 2nd COVID-19 vaccine. Best trip I’ve made in my truck so far.

This is probably the best thing the news has to report on. At least the most interesting.

This morning was a 10 mile drive to do some Legion tasks.
For the first time in over a year, I went into a bank lobby.
Yep, wore my mask into a bank - man, I've wanted to do that for years! :)
That's not the tricky part.... it's when you hand them the note.

Really beautiful. I need to find some good exploring spots here in San Diego.
Anza Borrego desert is a little over an hour and a half and has many off-road trails to explore. Same with that ocotillo wells area. If you want to off-road within San Diego, check out Otay Mountain. Only problem is if you are afraid of heights, sometimes it gets a little narrow and a ton of traffic on weekends + the border portal frequents there a lot.

Local section of the political center party threw up a metal collection rally for some good cause and display their candidates for upcoming vote. So I loaded up an over filled haul of old metal junk and transported those to the temporary collection point about 920 meters from home.

Gave me a donator selectable seed pouch and a spruce sappling. Planted the sappling (shameless marketing starts here) with Finputki (http://mail.finputki.fi/) which is the Finland produced version of the original pottiputki, which was developed in Finland and later on sold to Sweden. Makes planting a breeze, the effortless way to plant 5000+ seedlings per day.
