What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

Went to agri shop, bought some food for the horsies and a hole (unloading valve) for flexible intermediate bulk container (FIBC). Valve is for loading a planter from the FIBC multiple times as the planter only holds about 400kg seeds & another 400kg of fertilizers.

This was actually on Sunday, but the Ranger went on tour of the neighborhood after a storm came through Saturday night. A lot of trees came down and we were without power for around 14 hours.

The lovely wife and I had gone shopping the day before, so we took almost everything in our refrigerators to a neighbor's house that still had power.

We went back and got our goodies when our power came back on. Later that afternoon we picked up another curio cabinet from Craigslist about 20 minutes from our house. The seller loved my Ranger and said he had been at the dealership earlier that day looking at them. I told him a little about mine and urged him to go test drive one.

Edit: it has 992 miles on it now.

I see likes. I set the bait. Now just waiting for the bites haha. I know I would be down for it. That is as long as it's not on west coast haha. Maybe the gulf or east coast.

There's a great campground on the beach in Ft. Myers FL.

Sadly, I hauled a bunch of stuff out to our little cabin on a nearby lake to do yardwork and spring cleaning in order to list our cabin for sale. I am crushed that we are selling it, but my wife doesn't like sleeping out there and because of that, we don't spend weekend out their anymore. These are older pics...

We met with a listing agent, she put a sign out front, and a couple walked up and said they are interested in buying it. I'm sad.

My wife is from Buford on Lanier., but Allatoona is heaven! We have a place in Winchester TN on Tims Ford Lake, but it takes 10 hours to get there hauling the boat.

Drove to woods and planted 25 black walnuts on the side of the access road. Pretty much a test if they grow here or not, should as this is just on the line between hemiboreal and boreal zones. Would be nice to have some walnuts, but mainly my goal is to have something else living in the forest than pine/spruce/birch.

Spent last night dispersed at one of my favorite camping spots, Hopkins Prairie in Ocala National Forest. Got to test out the Qomotop mattress/pad I picked up from Amazon. Warm day and a cool evening.

On the drive back today we swung by Lake Okeechobee to check it out.

Took a deceased Army veteran to the local National Cemetery for interment. (He was in an urn.) I'm a funeral director. The first last ride in this truck.
