Yeah, 1) like @DukeCanBuildit said, it's a bit rough on the knees, which I may have abused a little in my younger days, and 2) when I'm up in the mountains, that spray-in liner will shred the grocery bags with stuff sliding around back and forth in the switchbacks, so I'm hoping that the bed mat will solve that problem. It's probably not doing heavier-duty canvas bags much good either, but it's most noticeable with the grocery bags, and I can't always put them in the back seat.
I have a cargo bar the I just bungee stuff to which keeps things from sliding around. Spacing it just right to the tailgate, the fore and aft shifting of stuff is minimal.

I have two of those as well (one which permanently holds my bed bins in place, the other to be used as necessary) but sometimes they don't quite fit the bill. I'm a moderate in all things and believe in a multi-prong approach to the majority of life's problems. Plus, they do absolutely nothing for the aforementioned cranky old knees. The bed mat, while it won't eliminate either problem, will improve both of them.

I have an old cargo bar a friend gave me that cams to hold the ends against the bed sides wherever it's needed. I typically use it towards the rear of the bed to hold things next to the tailgate like a propane tank in a milk crate when I get it filled. Works pretty well. I should see about cutting a 2x6 to fit in the slots stamped in the bed to hold it crossways. Now I can't remember if there are slots????? 🤷🏻‍♂️ My SuperDuty had them.

The slots are there Mel. You just have to remember to cut the 2x6 a couple of degrees off square to account for the curve where the side wall meets the floor.

Then checked the oil. Well way overfull so I sniffed it. 87 octane oil I'm guessing, at about 800 miles since the last Ford oil change with no short trips. Biggest piece of crap I have ever bought. Pandemic junk.

Had 35x10.50r17 installed today. Popular size on Tacomas because they’re narrow. Trimming is needed and crash bars need to be removed, but they fit!

Truck looks good! Tires look good, love the tread, tread looks nice and aggressive.

thank you. I used to run the same tire but the 37” size on my Gen 1 raptor.

I don’t do much off roading, only a fire road 1-2 times a year so these are pretty overkill. But I have a short work commute and I don’t mind driving like a grandma to keep my transmission alive. Haha.

Gave it a good clean inside and out before I park it awhile.

Looks good all nice and clean! There's no reason to park it I told you I'd take care of it for you just like Annie took care of Greggs @gfitzge2 Mustang for him. I swear I wont let her drive it.

Good luck with your surgery on Thursday and I'd just tell the Dr to do the whole arm. Might as well go full bionic and have a super power arm. I might even be able to fabricate a mini damper for you. lol 😜

Thought about trading it for a new 2025 Maverick Tremor.

The Maverick drove nice, seats were more comfortable than my Ranger seats, power was less than I was expecting, and it comes with a lifetime powertrain warranty which was its main appeal.

Since my transmission still doesn't shift right a lot of the time despite being rebuilt with all the "good" stuff, I don't have a lot of confidence in it and the appeal of worry free powertrain does have a strong pull for me.

Still pondering it.

I saw a shadow black one at a dealer lot today - almost turned around to take a closer look to see if it was a hybrid. 😳

The AWD Hybrids are hard to find and there is not much wrangling the price on one.

While I would like the hybrid, I don't drive enough to ever make up the cost differential between it and the new 2025 leftover I'm looking at.
