thank you. I used to run the same tire but the 37” size on my Gen 1 raptor. I don’t do much off roading, only a fire road 1-2 times a year so these are pretty overkill. But I have a short work commute and I don’t mind driving like a grandma to keep my transmission alive. Haha.

Had 35x10.50r17 installed today. Popular size on Tacomas because they’re narrow. Trimming is needed and crash bars need to be removed, but they fit!

Did a speaker upgrade and installed sound deadening in the doors (only bought 8 sheets so there are a few gaps). Affordable upgrade and made noticeable difference in bass response.

Yeah 11 mpg sounds real low. I’m on 33s with all the front aero removed and still get 18mpg city and close to 21 freeway. Yes, I do drive like a grandma. But still.

What a project, completed the full by myself, which in hindsight wasn’t the brightest idea. Suspension stuff is heavy! Ended up going with the extended travel coilovers from ICON and adjusted them to provide a 3” lift. Now the truck sits level and drives like a dream. If anyone is on the fence...

I was getting pretty tired of the rear Ranger buck. And found a solution. It rides very smooth now. Night and day difference.

Had a free afternoon so I washed/waxed both Rangers. The ‘97 is my toy and the ‘20 is my daily, although the Rangers have changed over the years I sure love the platform.

installed the MBRP exhaust today. Super easy install, 13mm and 15mm sockets and a flathead screwdriver. Installed in under 90 minutes, sounds great and zero interior drone.
