Installed a Viofo A229 Plus dash cam, used the dongar adapter to plug it into the auto dimming mirror. Super easy install, took about 15 min.

What's wrong with, l assume you ment "Torx" fasteners?I also used these fasteners because the ones that come in the kit are tech screws.

No, I would have said Torx screws if I meant that. What's wrong with, l assume you ment "Torx" fasteners?
OK sorry, just thought spellchecker got you like it does me.No, I would have said Torx screws if I meant that.
The kit comes with Tech (Tek) screws that are a self tapping sheet metal screw. They are not the 6mm machine screws which are required to mount the bracket.

Nice !Picked up a 2020 Ranger XLT with the FX2 package on Sunday. Installed the Raptor style grill tonight and plan on installing Bilstein 6112s in the front and 5100s in the rear over the weekend. I have a set of Kenda Klever R/T 33x10.50r17 tires and some aftermarket wheels that should get fitted in a few weeks. I’ll be sure to share the after photos.

Sounds like it’s coming together nicely, David. Try not to gloat too much about the relative ease of the front suspension swap on your FX2. Pics would be great - what wheels and tires are in your plans?Picked up a 2020 Ranger XLT with the FX2 package on Sunday. Thanks, I had originally had my sights set on a 4x4 but after having a real discussion with myself it wasn’t really a need, just a want. I live in So Cal where the weather doesn’t require it and my once a month trip into the local fore roads or desert trails don’t really require it. I figured I’d save the money buying the FX2 package, still getting the rear locker and use the difference in price for upgrades like wheels/tires/suspension ect.Sounds like it’s coming together nicely, David. I had the same tires (different size: 37x12.50r17) on my f150 a few years back. Amazing tire, quiet on the road and tread wears even and long lasting.I've only ever put Kendas on motorcycles. I didn't know they made truck tires too.
I didn’t think too much about the total weight but I did know I wanted to stay at 33” or less of tire. I have a few friends who went with 35” and 315/70 tires and run into power problems as well as shifting issues. I figure the 285/70r17 is a pretty common tire on these Rangers and the 33x10.50 is a bit narrower compared to that. Hopefully it’ll all work out.RangerDave, did you consider rotating weight with this setup? Looks like your tires are 61 lbs, which isn’t terrible. The RockTrix look nice too.
Nice setup you will have!
I am right behind you with wheels, bumper & suspension.
Fun times! Your truck will look good.![]()
