I reinstalled my cab spoiler: the silicone adhesive that came with it hadn't cured after 3 days so I pulled it off, re-lined it with 3M VHB double-sided tape and used some Loctite 495315 adhesive/sealant.

Instead of weights or tape, I cinched it down with a ratchet strap. Nice & tight all around.

Hey airline tech, can you please share the part number for that oil filter socket. Thank you
Even though I am in waiting for my (Upholstery Shop) modification on my driver's seat cushion.
Preventive maintenance timing of oil change came due - 15,000 mile.
so completed that and now have another 5,000 to go for the next.

I will say I tried the Motivx oil filter socket works great, no slippage like the other brands I have tried, and the PLUS is that the extension block on the socket is deigned to hold the extension back and not allow it to push all the way through to the filter.
As with the other brands the extension will hit the filter, and it pushes the socket back just enough that when trying to remove the filter the socket wants to slip and spin. (Crappy Design)

The Motivx Socket eliminates that frustrating design.

Thank you.
No Problem

I will also add the printing on the face of the socket gives you an excellent reference to the install specs of the filter:

71 In lbs then 180 degrees, so use the US Flag as a ref and turn 180 degrees.
A bit of difference from (Hand-Tight) - (1/4 Turn) - General old school install

I bought this from an ebay seller for $113. I've seen these on ebay & Amazon for as much as $450! Most of what's available on ebay are all the same. The Ford branded version @$250 (bottom pic) is a bit longer front to back and extends over the roof sheetmetal channels.

I'll run a bead of the black silicone around the entire perimeter and reattach the 3rd brake light, then I'll take it on the freeway today to see if it cuts down on the buffeting when I've got my cargo carrier on the bed.

Put on some new wiper blades after a trip to the bow range. Been noticing the old blades were getting streaky. Tried cleaning them with no improvement. 2100 mile-ish road trip starts Thursday and looks like plenty of rain dang it!

Went to the local buggy bath and got the sap, dust, mud, and bird droppings off my Ranger. After a good scrubbing, I wheeled it into the parking area to towel it down and give all the panels a 303 Graphene Detailer treatment. Then, I drove it back to the cottage like I stole it.

It still looks good after almost five years.

I am trying to use my Ford touch-up paint pen thingy.
I do not like the pen part as it dispenses too big a drop of paint no matter how easy I push it, so I'm having to use the brush end.
I truly suck at this, but it must be done. I guess no matter how bad I am, the end result is better than seeing the chip marks.

If any of you have pointers or wisdom, I'm all ears.

Try using the pen end to put a drop on cardboard or something then use a toothpick to apply the paint to the chip. That is my method for very small stone chips that the pen is too big for.

I replaced my DPFE sensor this morning. After a few minutes of struggling with the clamps, I used a small pair of needle nose vise grips to squeeze the clamp open and lock it. It came off with a small twist and pull which I repeated on the second one. I spent more time messing around with the first clamp than the whole rest of the job. In and out took about twenty minutes. ?

Changed the coolant, sort of.
Several times in the past on other vehicles when I gave them a full flush the water pump took a powder shortly after, even if I use Prestone Super Flush. Lately I just pull the lower rad hose off and refill the radiator but I do that more often than the recommended interval.
Doing it that way was a bit under two gallons. 78k, coolant was still green but a little dirty. I'll do it again at 100k.
Used Prestone Platinum.
