Quick update:
I was surprised to check my email and already two emails from the team at Lux. They are moving quickly to get these replaced. I believe they have updated their design since these were purchased and the magnets are now encapsulated in the resin. They are also going to include a tube of thermally conductive silicone.

The Edmonton area does use a combination of salt/sand in the winter.
Between the fragile nature of the magnets and the water or heat that lead to the short, I will have to make sure these are sealed well and take more time on the install.

I do hope the replacements last longer. Even with warranty, it’s not convenient to troubleshoot and re/re them.

And yes, go yellow!
It’s great that they’re taking care of you! ?

Picked up my top hats from the water jet place I dropped my template off at. Might possibly cut out my shock towers this weekend if I can finish my 20 ton press and press brake.

I installed the TW driveshaft today. Annoyingly difficult on your own. I could have used a 3rd hand.

I replaced my DS because I broke the OE one working on the leaf springs. The benefit of a wicked smooth ride was secondary, but my wife noticed and I am really happy with the ride now.

Followed up om what Mirage 775 did to his wife's Ranger....adding some striping to break up all the Silver paint.
Got the same as his, but in gloss black......

Glad to see you got the lines on straight, Steve, because they sure aren't straight in that parking lot.

Barely had herculiner left over, so decided to slap some paint on those dimples on the core support to "black" things out a little.

Also noticed bare metal from the cover panel rubbing on the core support from all the times I used it as something to lean on...

Less of a mod, and more of a "I paid a whopping $17 for a can, I'm gonna use everybit of it" thought process.

Installed the Prinsu roof rack. At the top of my list of mods I would tell myself to avoid if I could go back in time. Looks good but install was an absolute pain.
