Exactly, shocks will dampen the rebound and compression but without springs they cannot raise a truck. If there is any minor lift due to more gas pressure that will slowly be mitigated and the vehicle will return to stock height.
Everything now days is insanely priced, go to the Ford site and price out a loaded Maverick Lariat, damn near $40k and it's not going to do half the stuff the Raptor will.
Did you attach the lead dropping down to anything? I didn't like the idea of it just dangling there so made a small L bracket which I bolted on and then used a zip tie to hold the wire. Just gives me a little piece of mind.
seems like a lot of work in order to replace 2 shocks? I just swapped to Fox 2.0's and I kid you not it took me maybe 10 minutes total. I didn't use and jacks, didn't touch the spare, etc. Broke the bolts loose and used my cordless ratchet to remove the bolts, tossed the shocks on, compressed...
Don't trust a shop to actually know how to use a Road Force balancer just because they have one. Developed a vibration in my Mustang so took the wheels into a Ford dealer who has a Road Force unit. The attached picture shows what their tech did. No way were the tires ever matched with the high...
Finally got around to checking trans oil level, wasn’t horrible but needed about 3/4 quart to be where it’s supposed to be. It may be my imagination but my wife confirmed that it seems to be shifting better which I wouldn’t think such a small amount would do?
I also didn’t go from underneath...
I got that excuse the other day at Menards, looking for some siding for my garage & was told they couldn't get it because of covid...I didn't even bother asking any further questions. Funny thing is another Menards about an hour north of me had everything I needed.
Its all BS excuses.
Assuming tech packages are similar why does Porsche cost 3-4-5 times what a Prius costs? Build costs are probably similar, they both utilize an engine and it doesn't take longer or all that many more parts to produce one over the other.
Why does a ZL1 Camaro cost almost 3 times what a basic V6...
I don't know about other cruise lines but Carnival limits everyone to 15 alcoholic drinks & it doesn't matter if you have the package or are buying them individually.
