try not to cringe...
added some off road paint customization. the scratches i can take care of. the scrape is deep. like dent deep. im still a lil sick about it... thats almost the same spot that was fixed about a year ago when i had a wreck ?

That sucks Mark - a few inches lower and it would be even more expensive to fix. Take it back to the shop that did the work last year and tell them they missed a spot.

Worked on my fender flares today. I got these from @OFC Ranger
On a side note, I haven't been very active around here because I stopped getting emails from the forum. That's how I always ended up on the forum posting. :( I've never blocked the or reported the forum as spam, and I even whitelisted the "[email protected]" email address. And I'm still not getting emails from the forum. Any ideas, folks?

Oh that ship sailed a couple years ago, the first time I took my ranger camping. I often get asked who keyed me lol. Added a few more scratches out in the desert yesterday though. 100% worth it
truck looks great! be very careful off road in a black truck. mine looks like it was attacked by a cheese grater. every little leaf, bit of gravel, twig, or even stout grass seems to scratch the black paint on the 5g trucks. be sure to post some pics!

installed my cactus stickers, 2 reasons for the cactus sticker, first is obviously because of the color of the truck (Cactus grey for the one who didn't catch it!) and 2nd, my late uncle called me his little cactus when I was a kid, because of my attitude and everything else!

if you think it'S cheesy, I don't care!
I learned long time ago that I cannot please everyone and as long as my wife is happy, i'm happy!

I put on my Rocky Road Sliders with most of the work done by my mechanic Joe. 24 holes drilled in the frame for self taping screws 4 per brace x 3 per side. They look great and stout as heck. It took us 3 hours but Joe has a lift at his house for his business A Home Run Automotive which made it so much easier. He is anal like me so these turned out perfect.

Putco driver MOLLE panel installed. I have a swing out tool box on the passenger. Thinking of swapping that out too.

Started hanging ye ol gear up.

Added some of those DRT tie down anchors another user mentioned as well.

Today going to drop that AFE intake and the foam engine cover I paid too much for, wash her up and then the Aerocab markers.

Ok put that AFE power intake on.

First impressions, not that great. Cheaper material than OEM.

OEM has metal washers to reenforce the bolt in spot and a gasket. This has neither and basically flexed into position.

While the intake side is bigger see, the opposite ends ID is smaller. The cheap plastic has thicker walls. This concerns me because of how this affects actually airflow.

If you go from small to large you should loose the max CFM available at that joint and just maintain the CFM available of the smaller diameter hose.

Maybe to clear up my thoughts.

If the OE intake is 10 square inches at the hood and then 6 square inches at the air box. Switching this for a aftermarket part that is 13 square inches at the hood and 5.5 square inches at the box should buy you zero advantage.

Convince me I didn't buy snake oil.

New rear shocks. Plain old Monroes. See if this fixes the intermittent vibration. Had to get creative with the lower left nut, it was spinning inside the bracket that’s supposed to hold it in place. That was the only bolt with rust.

Vise grips alone wouldn't do it so I pounded in a flat screwdriver from the bottom and an awl from the top and used the breaker bar almost all the way. Get R Done. The other three bolts didn't give me any problems.

Finished the unnecessarily rushed install of my Diode Dynamics tow hitch light kit. Looks great from 5 feet away.

Things didn't go as smoothly as I would have liked underneath lol.

I detailed my F-ups HERE.

Happy Father's day to all the other dads on here.

Got the icon springs put in the rear. For reference I already had a 2.5” lift up front and these springs DWARF that. I guess my move to 35s won’t be much of a problem in the rear lol. Time to go to 3”+ up front! As far as ride these icons are an improvement over the stock springs for sure. Firmed up handling in corners and at high speed. That’s a stock height “highboy” in the back for anyone familiar with the older fords. The Ranger is now taller than that truck in the rear! ? (The Ranger has 255/85/16 toyo MTs on it )

I used 2019 2.7l 4x4 crewcab f150 rear shocks for your height get ton of flex. Ride pretty good specially high speed dirt.

Honestly if by the time production gets rolling out and things are releasing and things kind of stay the same on 6G I may opt to just keep posting here on 5G as long as it's not against the rules.

I've never seen so much polarization.

And the continued misuse of the term price gouging is frying my brain cells.
Haters gonna hate, or like James franco said they hate us because Anus. Lol
