Got my new Method MR301 wheels and 265/70/17 tires installed along with my Eibach Sport adjustable shocks set at 1.5" of lift. I'm stylin', and stuff. Thanks Joe @Discount Tire.

Got some time today, but waiting on connectors for the Rigid lights, so I started on the snorkel. Went pretty well, until I couldn't find my rivet gun. I ripped the garage apart, then realized it must have been in the house when it burned. Going to pick up a new one first thing in the morning, and hoping to complete this tomorrow before a family dinner in the afternoon.

RSI Smartcap.
I didn't expect it to arrive, but here it is.
Very happy. It was a long wait.

Changed the oil for the first time and sent it off to Blackstone. My trips are shortish and I only have 2,3xx miles on the truck, so I wanted to get the factory fill out and new fluid in. I will run OEM for another 2k miles and then switch to 300v and bump to 5w40. Ultimately, the oil sampling will tell me what to run.

See, that guy was right. The bed height is a defect, I can see you using the sidewalk to prop yourself up to reach in the bed.

I really like those smart caps. Not much use for me, but in a previous life, I'd be all over one.

That other rig in the background looks interesting too.

We are all a bunch of fools for buying a vehicle with such obvious design flaws.
This makes me Super Duper Intelligent !!!!!
Actually, I'm in the "upper" percentile, equivalent to "Genius" !!!

Cleaned my windshield by taking a buffer and invisible glass wax remover. I hate rain repellant.

Then this guy appeared, so I stopped at my windshield.

Cute little jumping spiders can live within my truck hassle free. So cute, it kept poking it's body out as if it was waiting for me to stop making horrible noise and vibrations.

What exactly ar back racks for exactly?

Dumb question yes, I see em all the time on work trucks but usually have empty beds.
They prevent the load from joining you inside the cab in addition to being mounting points for lights or supports for ladder/lumber hauling. All the fleet trucks here have them as standard equipment.
