Dropped it off for its annual inspection tomorrow, and to have the Eibach sport shocks installed that have been sitting in my garage for well over a year. Yes, I could've installed them myself, as I am very well mechanically inclined. However, I'm not motivated enough anymore to go launching wrenches across the garage with the speed of a major league pitcher which will undoubtedly go through a window as I am spewing out loud, horribly abrasive but creative profanity that could only be matched by Satan himself. I couldn't hit the broad side of a bull's ass, but you know d*mn well that f*cking wrench WILL find the window! H*ll, I'm getting pissed off just typing about it!!!

Although I am a technician I do have as some would say Bitch mitts, and yet I still struggled an ass ton to get to the pcv to complete the jlt catch can install. Got it done pressure washed engine bay. It was very much needed. While I had wheel off decided to paint the caliper. Before any say anything about the overspray. I get cases and cases of brake clean free yea I sprayed everything down after lmao.

Installed my new engine cover from Levitown Ford. Found the Krylon Pepper Red a good match. It is not a match for the red positive battery cover despite the iPhone picture.

Unfortunately for me I had to put my stock wheels back on the truck. The Method 315’s that I initially received in early May had a paint defect that Method confirmed should not have been there. At that point I contacted Tire Rack and was told that they would be shipping me a new set from Nevada.

The new set from Nevada arrived at the Davie Distribution location. When i went to pick them up with the wheels I was returning they first gave me the run around for an hour only to tell me that the warehouse crew didn’t know what they were for and unmounted the tires from the wheels and put them in stock. The manager told me to give them an hour to get them mounted. I came back after and hour and even waited another 45 min. No one came out to help me, and the only employee that did said he would go find out, only to never be seen again. I left out of frustration and the horrible customer service.

Tire Rack was again very apologetic of what happened. They told me that the Davie wheels were inspected and we worked it out to be shipped to my home. Well that was a lie. The new set was actually being shipped from Indians and not My local distribution warehouse as I was told.

Three of the new wheels arrived yesterday with UPS saying the fourth would arrive today. And yet again no one at Method nor Tire Rack inspected these wheels and they came also with the paint defect. So here I am twiddling my thumbs seeing how else Tire Rack can screw this up.

As seen in the pictures, there’s a small lip area between the exterior lip and the face. As I told both Method and Tire Rack, that needs to be either Gold or Black. Not waves of black, a few blotchy areas of over spray, or a few spots of gold. Not sure what’s worse, that so far 8 wheels have had this issue, or that they have the nerve to sell these for $418 a pop with that kind of QC.

That paint and QC is terrible.

This was quite the process for me too, when I upgraded sizes. I’m all my 3 tire sizes after factory, none of them have been what the calculator says they should be.

There is a confirmed tire change size section in the forscan wiki as to confirmed changes to make when changing tire size. As of yet it appears to work.

I've been killing it the last week or so getting a few things installed that sat in the garage for way too long. Today I got to my new reverse lights going in the rear bumper. Rigid Radiance Scene Flushmount red backlight, which both the red and white will be controlled through my Spod Bantam, not connected to the reverse lights directly. Turned out to be more work than I expected because the lights are over 3 inches deep, and the spot I bought them to fit into, has a bumper support behind it. I knew it was there, just wasn't expecting the lights to be that deep. I had to do more custom fitting than I expected, so I only got one side fit today, but didn't actually install it, because I painted all the new bare metal with Tremclad. Hoping tomorrow I can get the other fit, painted and both installed.

Installed a stainless 20" resonator into my MBRP exhaust system.

It was WAY too ricy sounding and I've been meaning to get around to this.

It sounds MUCH better.

Still definitely louder than stock, but not obnoxiously so like the MBRP system was.

AFE Diff Cover went on today. That wraps up my drivetrain service minus the trans. AMSOIL all around, sorry I’m an amsoil guy dont roast me toooo hard. Surprised how dark the diff was at only 25k miles. Mostly just my mind playing tricks on me. Went with the afe one as it has a drain plug, my housing does not. One of the easier installs I have done all in about 25 min including clean up

No roasting, been using Amsoil in everything I own for over 20 years great product and zero issues.
