We took a quick day trip out to Tulsa, OK which was 250 mies round trip. I burned just under a 1/2 tank round trip with the cruise set to 75 mph most of the way.
There's a couple stores out there that we wanted to look at things for the new house and while we were there we stopped at Costco (Sam's Club owns this area) and Winco. Winco is kind of like a mini Costco and has a great bulk foods area where we always use to stock up on spices and coffee back in AZ. I did see a nice LG 86" TV at Costco and it would've followed me home if the darn thing would've fit in the bed of the Ranger. The picture quality was really nice and I just checked online and they offer free shipping so it might just find its way here. :giggle: We didn't buy anything except a front door mat for the new house but spent about $350.00 on food between the two.:curse:

This thing is so big and I don''t know where to put it here. Right now we're using our Christmas tree box as a tv stand for our 55" and that barely fits on it. lol

That's a really big TV.

It is and It's huge in person!..... That's what she said.

I might stick to my original plan and wait for a 70"/75" to go on sale, maybe on Black Friday. I want to floor to ceiling fireplace to be the focal point not the tv. lol

I finally performed the Sasquatch Foot mod, on the heater outlet above the throttle. I've been hitting the outlet with my shoe and finally cut 1 1/2" off the end for clearance.

We do most of our shopping at Winco. They originated here in Idaho.

Soooooo, what did you need to cut to change your oil?
I have the ARB skid plates and the dealership cross threaded one of the bolts that holds the first and second plates together (its held on by a capture nut and it was broken free of the hold). On top of that cross threaded bolt, I am missing four others. The dealer is the only one who has touched the truck, besides me, since the install of the plates. This is why I am doing it on my own now.

I installed the Valvomax valve, so... I won't make any mess next time.

A block for his floor jack maybe ?

I need one... I can only get the front wheel an inch of the ground.

I'd probably be better off homeless right now. We've somehow managed to almost double the stuff we came here with! At this rate I'm going to need 2 moving trucks next spring. ?‍♂

We did too when we were back in AZ. What's nice is they really didn't raise their prices like all the other stores did these past 4 years. Maybe enough to cover their increases but nothing crazy the all the larger stores did. Plus their own Winco brand stuff is really good like their Winco ketchup and potato chips etc....I've never liked anything but Heinz but their prices are crazy high now. A 64oz Winco bottle is only $2.98 and taste just as good!

I changed the oil yesterday, the first time I’ve done it at home.
Picture one is not a tool I expected to need.
Picture two is a reminder gentlemen, that the stream is stronger than you think.

Not a big deal. The bolts on the skidplate are the same size as the drain plug so you only need to crawl under it with one socket. You only need to remove the two rear bolts, the two fronts you only have to loosen. If I'm feeling lazy I'll use a cordless drill with a socket adapter. I have an STX and the FX4 skidplate might be different.
Also you can replace the drain plug with a Fumoto valve with a short length of hose.
For the mudflap to get to the filter I replaced the plastic plugs with neodymium magnets (Amazon) attached to the flap with Gorilla Glue and use an FL-400S filter that is longer and easier to reach.
Also you can use a K&N oil filter with the nut welded on the end.
Drain pan about halfway behind the wheel and against the ramp seems to catch most of it.

I was going to suggest the Valvomax but looks like you already did it, hats off sir

Did you wind up destroying your plates? Maybe you can chase the threads with a tap?

I've been taking my armor off if she needs to go to the dealer for something to avoid issues. I honestly hadn't even considered them cross threading my stuff, that's valid.

I figured they would just lose the hardware altogether. They've already done it with hardware that belongs on the truck ??‍♂

I think the Valvomax hose is a touch short, I think I'm going to take it off and make it a bit longer with more clear tubing and a regular worm clamp ?

I have the ARB skid plates and they have 13mm, 15mm, 17mm bolts. I also need normal and deep sockets of each. I spent a lot of time getting up and down.

Nah, the skids themselves are fine. I need to get new bolts. I am going to reach out to ARB in the morning. I need several different size bolts and a capture nut that goes into the frame.
