Nice, but no base sauce?
I know, right? I used to use crushed tomatoes but Mrs. DukeCanBuildit has issues with tomatoes. Sometimes, I just use a bit of olive oil, or Alfredo sauce, or Ricotta, or a “Nomato” sauce made from roasted carrots, beets, onion, and garlic.

Not much action on this thread lately.

Cleaning our the root cellar. Roasted veggies. Last years onions, sweet potatoes, Yukon gold potatoes, carrots, beets, and garlic from the garden. Love to go shopping in the root cellar.

I had biscuits and hot sausage gravy, 3 scrambled eggs, with fresh ground pepper and a few dashes of cayenne pepper. Not the healthiest supper, but it's sooooo GOOOOOD !!!

Smash burgers and sweet potato fries.

Had the same idea and even in the cold and snow, I like to grill. Our BBQ is in a covered area and close to a patio door for quick access.

so, it was smash burgers on the cast iron griddle and regular fries for us.

The flat griddle plate for our grill is a bit small, so I smash them between sheets of parchment paper before bringing them out to the grill.
