Here in downtown Toronto, it’s Spaghetti Night, with a healthy twist - turkey and multigrain pasta instead of the usual. Man, I sure miss the usual.

we stopped at City BBQ and split a sampler platter for a late lunch at 230 and i made popcorn for movie night, Robocop2

I had air fried steak tips, scalloped au gratin potatoes and baked zucchini strips coated with olive oil and breadcrumbs.

We had a couple of friends over so I grilled some thick pork chops on the Primo and some mixed vegetables on the Blackstone. Also had sautéed kale, garlic bread and did sweet potatoes in the oven for 3 hours (first time and they were awesome). Guests brought a great salad and wine. My wife made a killer cake from scratch even though she is recovering from foot surgery this week.

It was a good time and something we haven’t been able to do much lately. Being that it was in the 70’s yesterday we could have eaten outside but we did not.
