BBQing a porchetta as we speak. It will include a wild mushroom gravy. Mashed skin on yukon gold potatoes with bacon, cheese and onion and a broccoli and leak gratin. We are at a blistering 4 degrees C which is very comfortable for this time of year around here.

Here in downtown Toronto, it’s Spaghetti Night, with a healthy twist - turkey and multigrain pasta instead of the usual. Man, I sure miss the usual.

Time to get to work.

Damn right! If God didn’t want us to eat animals, he wouldn’t have made them taste like meat. Grill on Paul, grill on!
That’s just candy for grown men! No choice but to fire up the smoker tomorrow!

Did not take pictures, unfortunately, but smoked two Boston Butts last night. One for my son and one for us. That smoker has been the best thing our son has given us. I’m becoming quite proficient if I say so myself.

HI Folks,

Since I am the alleged Grill Master....I killed a couple hamburger patties on the grill with my secrete seasoning...Wife loves them and she is not a fan of burgers for the most part. So as she and I own the Ranger... I fed her a tasty burger...she supplies the Ranch Beans and the salad.

Yesterday I cold smoked a boneless lamb shoulder roast spiced with cumin, garlic, rosemary and s & p. Tonight it is going on the bbq rotisserie with a pomegranate syrup glaze. It will be served with lemon roasted baby potatoes, glazed carrots, green beans and a Greek salad. I have some buddies coming over to help install new rain gutters so I thought I would reward them with a nice meal and the obligatory beers.

Taking it nice and slow at the cottage this weekend, so having a smoker sure helps. It’s just the two of us, so a small pork tenderloin should be absolutely perfect in a few hours.

Can’t wait to hear what @Sailor is preparing!
