Well it's officially winter in the Upper Peninsula, 10 in of snow last night on top of the 6 we got earlier in the week. @AzScorpion bring that warm weather Ranger of yours up here for a little fun in the snow. ??

Nice, pretty pictures but "nice and snow" don't fix in my world...

I've only had the opportunity to drive my Ranger in the snow once, but it did great.

There's a steep hill in our area that's usually a challenge for most 4x4s to go up in snow.

My old Mitsubishi in AWD mode (AWD + 4 wheel electronic traction control. The thing was a goat) would always walk right up it, embarrassing the kitted out Jeeps and 4x4 trucks with how effortlessly it did it.

The one time I took the Ranger up it, I put it in Snow mode and it also made it effortlessly.

That's only one time though so I don't know if it was lucky or good.
I'm really impressed with how good it is in the snow. With my Firestone Destination XT's I don't even need to put it in four-wheel drive unless it's real bad out.

I'll pass on the snow invite. Never learned to drive in snow & I don't think my rear wheel drive Ranger Lariat would like it much.

As for winter, "It's currently 83° at 1500 hundred hours here in Plant City, Florida and the sun is shining brightly through scattered clouds", as they used to say on the old AM radio DJ days!!!!

I do like looking at snow pictures though. ?
A few more pics for ya

Snow, ummmm, let me see, nope we don't get much of that stuff around here. It is beautiful, though difficult to deal with at times I'm sure. I do love the fur buddy shot, He/she looks quite happy to be out in it with you. :)

I will start liking winter again when i retire! I used to love being outdoors in the snow, but having to drive 400 miles back and forth through the snowbelt every night has dimmed my enthusiasm for the white stuff!

30 and icy this morning coming to work. Had an Oh Shit moment. Crossed a bridge and all of a sudden I was sideways looking at the curb. I let off the gas and she straightened up. WOW . I need some weight in the back end. I was in 2WD too.

Frozen bridges happen in ID too! Glad you got it straightened out.

In Tucson the sheriffs dept shut down the rd up the mtn when it snows because too many dipshits will drive off the road. I really miss driving in snow.

Hi Sean,

Okay....Snow on the top of Wrightson and Hopkins in the Santa Rita's is 10 miles away...close enough for me....Snow driving in Michigan for 33 years....enough of that shit...

Best,
Phil
