Seeing your truck torn apart like that sucks. I think you need a really great summer where only good things come your way. I sure hope you get your truck back soon.
If I lived nearby, I’d loan you my truck to drive while you waited on yours. Okay, maybe not, but I’d certainly hand you the keys to my Passat to help you get around if you needed it. On second thought, maybe on the odd day, I’d let you drive my Ranger.
I hope it all gets sorted out soon - you have a lot going on without having to worry about this. You know, I’ve heard that God doesn’t give you anymore than He thinks you can handle - or something like that and if that’s the case, man, you must be one tough sonofabitch. instead of going full karen on them i was nice and calmly pointed out issues. so it goes back monday morning. im not even gonna drive it. i dont want any chance of blame. at this point im sad and do not even wanna look at the truck. im trying to stay positive and give them a chance to fix everything. we shall see. one that bugs me is i worked at this place years back and i know damn well no ones car left looking how mine does. we busted our butts to make customers cars look good. i dont think they even washed the truck. it still had mud and dirt from the accident all over lol. ok rant done its just a truck not a person or kidney. happy to be alive still just got my undies twisted.
Wow Mark that's to bad you got it back in such bad condition! NO way I'd accept that either and whether it's just a truck it's still an expensive purchase and they should've done a more professional job. Sad that it seems like there's so little that care about quality and customer service today. I hope they can fix and clean it up better for you next week. Good luck!finally got the truck back today at 530. was really excited. from a distance i was happy and looking forward to driving it. looked it over quickly found a few tolerable issues and agreed to bring it back next friday. drove home, like 5 min drive parked in drive way and gave it a better look. by 630 i was back at the shop and trying to be nice but was pissed. they broke the right rear door panel. burned the paint in three places due to bad polish / compounding skill, rear bumper plastic was not installed correctly, the back seat looks like a escaped convict slept in it, the two new tires were put on black wall even though the other 4 are all white letter out lol and they scratched up the head light plastic on the front left while taking apart the fender junk. if that wasnt enough to annoy me it was clear they had done sanding and bondo work on or near my truck with the door open or window down as the dust is all over the inside. the outside also had a nice spread of left over rubbing compound and polish basically every place.

i know they are understaffed and its really dang hot to be working on cars so im trying not to be too mad. the last straws were the door panel and back seat. they would have known the door panel was not right easily and they left it like that and shut the door, making the crack. The back seat on the truck has had maybe three passengers ever and i always kept spotless as thats where i would keep my clean clothes and extra water etc. for off road adventures. if i got dirty id throw the dirty stuff in the back and put on clean stuff to keep the truck nice inside. well stuff happens i think they will fix it all up.
