That's for sure Kent. We met a few people from CA and they were all saying how much they all loved the lower prices everywhere else. Something needs to change and soon because these prices are really hurting a lot of people and it's only going to get worse come winter. Most of the N'East heats will oil and the prices for home heating oil now is crazy high. There's going to be many seniors who are on a fixed income cold this winter.

It was nice to see the house was still standing and all in one piece when we arrived home. :whew: Duke really can build it as it looks the same as when we left and like no one was every here. ?

The final mileage was 4984. o_O I was going to drive around a little more just so I could hit 5,000 miles but I just wanted to get home at this point. I did check to oil (no I didn't smell it) before leaving and it was still right on the mark. The Ranger was really fun to drive and I was impressed by the mileage and overall mileage too. There's no way I could've done this trip in my Tacoma! Heck it was hard enough driving it up to Flagstaff which is only 160 miles. lol

Okay, that link is straight up hilarious!

I’m glad you made it home safe and sound buddy.

What a great experience for the two of you and some great memories for the rest of us on ranger5g. I really enjoyed your pictures and we also had a few laughs along the way. You really made the month fly by.

Thanks so much for sharing your epic journey will us. You didn’t have to document your trip and share it with everyone, but you did and that‘s just awesome.

Simply put….thanks!
