Waterproof in-bed storage box?

I think it's cheaper direct (not from ford).

It looks like you have the plastic bed liner, matching the bed bolts holes no issue apparently?

No, heck i work for Ford and the price was $229 lol... i got it from stage3motorsports.com $199.
The Ford one is made by Swing Case, just has a Ford logo on it.
That's the factory spray-in bed liner actually. It's really good, sprayed on thick.
I did have to "chase" the tapped holes with a tap to clean them out, from the bed liner stuff, was easy though.

I’ll think I’ll opt for that over a bed rail tool box.

I’ve got the plastic liner with one bolt hole on each side securing the liner. I’ll need to transfer the other 4 holes through the plastic liner to mount one.
That will may be a bit tricky.

Yeah, i think someone on here has done that. I know i've seen a video showing how to mount it with a plastic bed liner.

It’s too small for you but i use a few five gallon buckets with added screw top lids. Super cheap, super waterproof, and less likely to be stolen. I have a cargo bar that keeps them upright in a row against the back of the bed. One for straps, one for tools, one for car cleaning products. Easy to take out when I need the space.

I really like those swing cases. Planning to get one (or two) for my new ranger.

I just installed a Swing Case yesterday and I'm very happy with it. Enough room for my recovery gear, hitches, first aid kit, etc and easy to remove when I need to use the whole bed. If I need more storage in the future I'll probably grab another one for the other (driver's) side.
