Even the box I have now is hard to remove which is what got me thinking about multiple boxes instead of one. The larger boxes are a LOT more expensive as well. I just need one big enough to fit my hitch winch mount and then the rest of the stuff can probably fit into smaller boxes.

This one might be big enough for my hitch:

If so, I could get it and a couple of those smaller boxes for all the other recovery gear and stuff for my chainsaw.
Thanks for the link and it's in stock at my local store. Going to need to check it out, looks like it could hold what I'd like it to (and still be reasonable to take out without getting a hernia - and maybe slow down on the Amazon boxes ...).

Thanks!

If you seek easy removability then Milwaukee Packout is a great option. This is a really shallow box I have here but there are different style boxes, 2-3 drawer chests, crates, etc that are all stackable. Great system.

Unfortunately, I need quite a bit more space than those provide.

I ended up getting the 108qt trunk:
https://www.homedepot.com/p/Plano-108-qt-Sportsman-Trunk-Black-PLA108HD/312082657

And a couple of the 16 qt ones as well:

While it isn't perfect it is a lot better than what I had and I'm happy with the result. I now have my hitch in the box along with some straps, etc and then I have gloves, snatch blocks and shackles in one of the 16qt boxes. The big box is still heavy but it isn't as heavy as it was and I have more usable space in my bed now.

Thanks for all the suggestions and allowing me to bounce ideas around.
