What about the intake manifold spacer from Boomba as a starting point? I think it comes tapped and would give you access to spray right in front of each intake valve? Not sure if straight down would be the best angle for that sort of thing?

Why not just run an e85 blend instead. I ran e30 in my speed3 for about 6 years. Went from 13 degrees advance on 93 to 19 degrees advance on e30.
I was looking at Water/meth for the ranger until I saw the Livernois Response. I am on E30 now and I can confirm it is much cooler. I use a JB4 as the tune. Just ran 2 hours with ambient air at 34 degrees. IAT is 66. works and adds serious TQ/HP. Your MPG is going to drop though. Still. 4.8 Gal of E85 at $3.15 isn't a bad trade off for the Hell yea's.

Late But. I saw a British guy who works on Focus RS's and swears by water meth. Maybe you can get some insights.

I think he runs them on rails. You would have to tap the Intake manifold and run four port injectors if what Livernois said is accurate. Otherwise pump E30. It is much more simple and less potential for broken parts if the fuel is available. I came to that conclusion this week.

I am just starting my methanol journey; my setup will be a single AEM 500 cc nozzle with an 80/20 methanol ratio, I am inContact with ProMeth about the direct port setup for the ranger intake manifold and will keep you posted

Hell yeah, Please do for sure. If they can sort out a system for the Ranger let us know. Tell them to build 2 LOL. I have a Credit Card feeling abandoned in my Wallet somewhere.

When I was researching water/meth I read that a single port won't allow even detonation because each cylinder won't receive the same ratio of water/meth injection due to airflow. I believe it's very important to have 4 smaller nozzles as close as possible to the intake ports on the head when compared to a single larger nozzle before the intake manifold. The Boomba intake spacer is ideal. Food for thought.

Vitis I agree 100%, my personal plan is to get the system up and working then swap over to a direct port setup.

This is what I have come to conclude after much research. The Livernois guys talk about port injecting straight meth for inconsistent delivery. E30 might just be more convenient with similar results. I have run 24.5-25Lb of boost on the stock turbo with zero knock. 93 Top Tier fuel and e85 tested. just keeps eating boost.

Kit like this would be ideal. idk it it is a direct bolt for all models but I think it might work for the 2019 to mid 21's not 100 though

Without controlling the flow to each cylinder individually might the W/M mixture accumulate in the manifold and send the occasional slug into a cylinder?
That is the argument from some of the big tuners. I believe Livernois or Mount tune. The Manifold just don't flow well without direct to the port. Lets say you already have fouling and now run WMI and flow sludge into the cylinder even with proper port injection. That could be real bad. I agree. do the work right once.

Precision raceworks has a Spacer kit that looks legit. This is proper and should last a life time.
