  1. Water/Meth

When I was researching water/meth I read that a single port won't allow even detonation because each cylinder won't receive the same ratio of water/meth injection due to airflow. I believe it's very important to have 4 smaller nozzles as close as possible to the intake ports on the head when...
  2. California Original FoMoCo 70Ah battery for sale: $30

Where in Santa Barbara are you located?
  3. Sudden Acceleration

It's probably the transmission shifting into a lower gear and surging you forward. Happens to me a lot. Just be careful now that you are aware. These transmissions are too "smart" for their own good.
  4. Another Transmission Issue, Is This Unique?

Not that I am aware of, or any Ford enthusiast forum is aware of, and not Levittown Ford themselves are aware of. That actually means a whole lot (to me, at least).
  5. Another Transmission Issue, Is This Unique?

Frenchy I am agreeing with you; there is no argument. We are simply saying two different things. Ford can choose to deny based on anything little thing, even spark plugs, but they blame it on something. They blame it on owners not doing maintenance and they blame it on mods and they blame it on...
  6. Another Transmission Issue, Is This Unique?

Denying an extended warranty claim because of a spark plug is bogus, but I can see the argument where they could blame the owner for possibly uninstalling and reinstalling and then not torquing them down correctly, etc. In a "denied because of FPP tune" scenario however, Ford would have to blame...
  7. Another Transmission Issue, Is This Unique?

Totally, 100%, the warranty language states that Ford can deny warranty work based on their tune, but it has never actually happened in real life. They have denied other vendors' tunes all day, but they have yet to blame their own tune for damage on any vehicle that I or Levittown Ford has seen.
  8. Another Transmission Issue, Is This Unique?

While I appreciate your clarification during our conversation about the Ford Performance Tune Warranty, Frenchy, it is not at all hit or miss when it comes to the official Ford Performance Tune. I implore you to find evidence of Ford ever blaming their own tune on any vehicle and subsequently...
  9. Bad Motor Mount

Crap, another negative post from myself. Anyway, good data, thanks for posting it up. Hopefully aftermarket will provide some good alternative options. I really wish the people with resources would spend their time on R&D for things like this than something easy like expensive intakes or...
  10. Some dyno results for the naysayers.

This whole thing feels like how the folks at Junk2 over on Honda-tech started back in the day. Seemingly innocent dyno threads designed to make people buy shit they don't need. Nobody was allowed to have a negative opinion on their parts or dynos for the longest time either... I wasn't trying...
  11. Some dyno results for the naysayers.

@AzScorpion I read and understand what importfighter wrote completely. He discussed the numbers (same as me) the only difference is importfighter found them impressive and I didn't 🤷‍♂️which upset loweredon33s and other mod peddlers. I'm a naysayer (based on the posted dynos), but this thread...
  12. Some dyno results for the naysayers.

I'm not upset, but this paragraph that reads like an angry text from an ex, would suggest you are. I am completely lost as to what you are on about. You posted unimpressive dyno numbers "for the naysayers", people started talking about them, and your translation to all of that is we are upset...
  13. Some dyno results for the naysayers.

Bro, you put the negative spin from the beginning. "For the naysayers" might have been a bad choice of words. If you posted "Here are dyno numbers, naysayers stay away" then you might have a right for acting the way you did in this thread, but you quite literally were asking for people to...
  14. Some dyno results for the naysayers.

I'm really not, man. People in a chat forum are going to discuss the numbers and hypotheticals all day long, but you clearly got annoyed at that.
  15. Some dyno results for the naysayers.

...your truck is on larger off-road tires, and according to you, we can't trust those numbers to be accurate. Are you going to put stock tires on your truck and do runs as well? You absolutely started a comparison thread, but according to you, all comparisons can't be compared? You know the...
  16. Some dyno results for the naysayers.

I really don't. I contributed to the discussion and you shut it down with: But earlier in the thread you mentioned you are going to be comparing these graphs with your own truck later...? I'm just not sure what you want from people on this thread besides blind likes. I'll give you those, if...
  17. Some dyno results for the naysayers.

I'm interested in finding value in my parts (and you will find many others do too) so when you start a thread that shows the value is in tuning (and tires - according to you) then there isn't really anything interesting about comparing parts that eek out an extra ~10 hp here and there.
  18. Some dyno results for the naysayers.

So what's the point of this thread?
  19. Some dyno results for the naysayers.

Yeah I am no fuel management guy, but by "correcting" the air/fuel does that mean the ECU is either pulling or add timing, decreasing or increasing peak HP respectfully? My hypothesis is that the Roush box on 93 is allowing more timing initially. I mean, I have my own data from my own truck...
