It's probably the transmission shifting into a lower gear and surging you forward. Happens to me a lot. Just be careful now that you are aware. These transmissions are too "smart" for their own good.

Totally, 100%, the warranty language states that Ford can deny warranty work based on their tune, but it has never actually happened in real life. They have denied other vendors' tunes all day, but they have yet to blame their own tune for damage on any vehicle that I or Levittown Ford has seen.

I'm interested in finding value in my parts (and you will find many others do too) so when you start a thread that shows the value is in tuning (and tires - according to you) then there isn't really anything interesting about comparing parts that eek out an extra ~10 hp here and there.

Yeah I am no fuel management guy, but by "correcting" the air/fuel does that mean the ECU is either pulling or add timing, decreasing or increasing peak HP respectfully? My hypothesis is that the Roush box on 93 is allowing more timing initially. I mean, I have my own data from my own truck...
