What about tire pressure? Placard says 30 psi. TPM and my gauge both say 39 psi on my 2-month-old. Do those come from the factory overinflated? Seems like these may start to wear in the middle if I don't reduce that pressure. Other thoughts?
if your placard says 30, you should run 30. You’ll be surprised by how much better it rides at 30 vs. 39.

45,000 on my OEM Hankooks and still have about 30% of the tread. All tires are even, no cupping or balance issues. I'm fine with the Hankooks, but won't replace them with the same tires. I also recommend getting an alignment when new tires are installed. And not from a dealer, but from a business that specializes in alignment.

Rotation. It takes a number of miles for a tire to "set." Many people have no problems with "Xing" when rotating, but think about what you are asking the tire to do. There is a crown on every road and that means right side tires experience more of the crown than left. When you "X" them the tire now runs the opposite direction and is open for issues because the tire also has to "reset" from one side to the other. Yes the distance is small, but this can cause balance and wear problems. I rotate front to rear only on the same side and have never had an issue of any kind.

These are AT tires. Lower the pressure significantly. What you earn would be much better comfort, less tire degradation, better OFFroad performance and higher fuel consumption.
Or in short: u have to die one death at least.

I killed the wildpeak A/T‘s on frontaxle within 10K KM. They where blank on the inner side because I like to go fast on winding roads…

Fährste quer, siehste mehr! (Drive across, see more!) is my motto?

I have about 23k on mine and they are in great shape. I run them at 32psi. I wish they made the ATMs them in a bigger size.

Our 2019 SuperCab 4x4 STX came with Hankooks. They're cupping like crazy. 31,000 miles on the truck.

I was rotating them every 4,000 miles. The local tire guy said these Hankooks are notorious for cupping, and to rotate them every 6,000 miles.

That didn't appear to help much.

Anybody else still have their factory stock Hankooks and experiencing this?

I'VE NEVER HAD AN OUNCE OF PROBLEMS WITH MY HANCOOKS. I SURE HOPE THAT WHEN YOU ARE ROTATING THEM YOU ARE ONLY DOING BACK TO FRONT AND NOT CHRIS CROSS CAUSE THAT WILL CAUSE A CUPPING PROBLEM ON JUST ABOUT ANY RADIAL TIRE.

I'VE GOT 41,000 KMS. I JUST ROTATED THEM BACK TO FRONT, FRONT TO BACK. THEY'VE BEEN GREAT TIRES, EVEN IN THE SNOW, IF I DIDN'T KNOW BETTER I WOULD SWEAR THEY ARE SNOW TIRES. PERFECT HARD/SOFT MIX. GREAT IN THE HEAT, TOO, NO SQUIRMING SOUND AROUND CORNERS.

My fx4 came with Hankook 265/65/17 ATMs. The Hankook ATs are an optional upgrade.

No matter how much you yell, the ATMs will always be garbage in the snow.

If you think they're good you've never had proper tires in the snow.

Sorry, but I agree.
I did not feel confident in the snow last winter with the stock Hankooks.
Hopefully I'll have some cash on hand before this Winter to get better tires.
Just my opinion.
And I've been driving a 4X4 for many years
And I know the limitations of a 4 wheel drive vehicle and
I don't drive like an Ahole

The OEM Hankooks might not be perfect, but they've definitely withstood their fair share of adventures over the past 2 years. Treadwear looks excellent at 22,000 miles.

What D Fresh said :sunglasses:

I'll acknowledge the Hankooks got me through some icy roads in Oklahoma and snow in Eastern Oregon as I brought my truck home from Georgia in February last year. Yeah, they were slightly better than most all seasons on my other vehicles. BUT compared to a dedicated snow tire. We are talking apples to oranges. I run Nokian snow tires on my Ranger and can usually get up and over snowy passes with only engaging 4WD at the top mile or two of the pass. This truck is more unstoppable with proper snow tires than my Subarus are with their snow tires. Although the Nokians are by far the best snow tire I've used (and I've tried about 6-8 different popular ones).
