  2. Just Do It! (285/75R17)

I've been thinking long and hard (lol) about new tires lately. I got Badlands stocks a few years ago and the Ko2's were getting worn and loud, and honestly i was just tired of them. I wanted something new and different. Started thinking real hard about going to a 285/75. I was worried about rub...
  3. How do you convince your dealer to replace the DPFE?

Cheap part and a 10 minute job if you take your time. Way cheaper and less headache than talking to a service rep.
  4. Mickey Thompson 255/85R17

Any update on this or anyone else running these this size mickey thompson?
  5. 265/70/17 tires on 2020 SuperCab ?

    265/70R17 will be fine.
  6. BDS 3.5" lift w/Fox 2.0 coil over or Eibach Pro Truck lift stage 2

I have the Eibach Pro up front and Eibach shocks in the rear. Love them. I didn't go with the fox kit because you need to rebuild them after about 40k miles or so. Eibachs have no rebuild interval that I'm aware of.
  7. Best "2.0" style suspension upgrade?

I have the Eibach 2.0 coilovers up front and Eibach rear shocks. Had them for probably 35,000 miles and I'm happy with them.
  8. MBS Extended Automatic Transmission Dipsticks now available

Finally bought one of your dipsticks about a month or so ago and installed it. Quality product. Very impressed. Thanks
  9. To tune or not to tune

I have the ford tune, it's okay. You can run 91 or 93 with it. But you will really get more bang for your buck going with an aftermarket tune.
  10. Transmission or DPFE sensor

I told them not to replace it, I'll order another or see if Levittown has some kind of warranty on their parts. Why would condensation build up in that sensor?
  11. Transmission or DPFE sensor

And they want $337 for a 5 minute sensor replacement that i can get for $98 online.
  12. Transmission or DPFE sensor

51,300 miles I was bucking until I replaced the sensor. Now it's like a hesitation between 3-4 and sometimes a hard shift from 6-5. The last time I was having the shift problem, they replaced the filter and fluid. You shouldn't have to replaced transmission fluid every 20,000 miles.
  13. Transmission or DPFE sensor

I took my ranger in because it was shifting funny from 3-4 and 6-5. They called back and said it's the DPFE sensor and it has water in it. I ordered a new one from Levittownfordparts and replace it myself a few months back because it bucking really bad. That fixed that problem. This isn't the...
  14. Ughhhh Re-Defroster FAIL!

Had the exact same thing happen to mine. Luckily, I was still within my 3yr-36mile warranty, and my ford dealer replaced my rear window.
  15. TSB 24-2101

Mine started having a delayed shift from 3-4. Then I had a big cluck going about 35-40mph from 8-7, so I called my ford dealer. First visit the re-flashed the transmission with no change. Last week had the second visit and they said they had to drive it 12 miles to get it to do it. But when I...
  16. Driver's Seat Etenders for Long Legs

I'm 5' 11" and I drive with my seat all the way back. I wish I had one more notch.
  17. Baja Boss A/T vs Falken Wildpeak A/T4W

I have no experience with the AT4W but, I had the AT3W and they were a good tire. They were on the heavy side for their size and I didn't have the LT either. I do have the Baja Boss A/T (also not LT) on my old ranger. They are a very aggressive AT tire. When I got home and saw them in the yard...
  18. Suggestions for grill/bumper area lights that will fill in the gaps...

That's what I used. I just popped out the 2 outside plugs.
  19. Another Transmission Issue, Is This Unique?

Not to steal someone else thread, but in the last two weeks my transmission has started hanging up between the 3-4 shift. It use to hardly ever even hit 4th because it would skip it. But now (not always) it goes 4th then it's like it kills the throttle for a second and then it's fine. I have a...
  20. Suggestions for grill/bumper area lights that will fill in the gaps...

The wiring harness I bought with the lights came with a 3 position switch, On/Off/On. I cut a small slit in the rubber boot where wiring runs through the firewall on the drivers side.
