Are you talking about the connection for the optional bed "power port" / 12v outlet ? I have the one from @WLFPIR8 on here--no drilling, and uses a factory connection. Check out his website (below his avatar). Great quality and he ships FAST !! 10 minute install.

For anyone who wants different color grill nostrils, all you have to pop out the old ones and have them covered in vinyl, the local car wrap shop did it for $20 for me.
Tip, the grill does not have to come all the way out, I pulled the upper plastic panel, released a few clips on the sides of the grill and tipped forward, then a pick with a 90* hook can release the nostril clips, (who in marketing thought "nostrils" was a cool name, maybe it's just me)

Good idea on changing the color of the nostril things... the red isn't the right shade... too "on the way to neon" for me. I'd rather those be the color of my truck. Will address.

I took off the Tremor skid plate and this is the P/N that is stamped into it.

Searching for KB3C-5R108-B on Google or any ford parts website yields nothing.

The silver skid plate P/N that's on most other Rangers (with HD suspension) is KB3Z-5D032-B.

It would be nice if the part that's on the Tremor (and some other Rangers) can actually be ordered, Ford... WTF?

Hi TO,

You are confusing the Engineering Part Number with the Service part number. The Z is for service. The service part number may be used for several design tweeks by Engineering.

Hmm...well what is the dang black skid plate part number... baffles me you cannot find the stuff that is on the car at dealers, parts websites, nothing. Unreal...

PART NUMBER KB3Z-5D032-B It is the same as FX4 models. As Phil said Ford does not put part numbers on their parts. The engineering number appears on the part. KB3C-5R108-BA or BB is the engineering number for both Tremor or FX4 skid plates.
