Did you replace all the nuts and bolts or reuse what you had? I can't find the part numbers for the Tremor U-bolts.

I re-used the ones that came with the Tremor springs.

Benny @LevittownFordParts.com from Levittown Ford posted the part numbers for the Tremor springs and U-bolts.

They are a vendor here on the site and Benny can hook you up with a good deal.

Here are the Tremor leafs & U bolts

Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
-Benny

Before the swap did you have the 'lean'? If so did this swap level it off?
Thanks.

Curious what the difference between the shackles are? Different size bolts?

The only difference I saw was the part number.

Bolts and measurements were identical.

From first post "Driver side leaf has a shim. Passenger side does not."

I'm considering ordering the take off springs from the UK truck for ride purposes. Other than a shim that I can't picture in my head I'm guessing there are no other differences - although with torque on a leaf suspension I'd expect some variation(s)?

I'd like to verify before I rely on the response of an international Ebay seller regardless of their ratings.

I installed the global leafs last year.

Not sure what your question is but they were a direct swap with two exceptions. Your factory Ubolts aren't gonna be long enough. Many of us used Rough Country Ubolts but the Tremor ones would work as good if not better. You're also gonna want to replace your factory bumpstops. F-150 Raptor bumpstops were my choice.

Most anything you need to know about the global leafs can be found here...

Anyone know what the Tremor U bolt torque spec is?

EDIT: in another thread it was reported it's the same as our monoleaf setup, 98 ft/lbs.

Bringing this post back from the dead. I did this swap last night and it increased the ride height so it is 39.5 inches from ground to wheel well. It’s riding about 3 inches higher than the front now. I torqued everything to spec so I am assuming a few miles will get it back down?

That's 3/4 inch higher than mine.

Maybe it will come down when they settle in.

Mine have been installed for a few thousand miles now so I'll go out and measure them today.

Edit: This is today. They have settled a little bit but only around 1/8th of an inch. And this is with a full tank of gas so some of thesettling could be from that.

Are you measuring the driver or passenger side?

Even though the shim is only on the driver side, the passenger side sits slightly higher, around 3/8 of an inch with a full tank of gas.

That’s about what my stock tremor was at height wise.

I dropped the kids off at school and remeasured and they have already settled almost 1/4”. I may throw some boxes of tile I have in the back and hit the $hitty roads and see if that helps. I have Eibach’s to put in the front to level it but was surprised how low the front is sitting now.

When I did the wildtrak swap on my truck I snugged the bolts up an stood on the bumper an worked the suspension a few times. Then I torqued stuff to spec. My pic of the specs was blurry an I over torqued the spring to frame bolt by 20 ft pounds.

I don't know if it matters or not but I read it's better to have the weight on the suspension when doing the final torque.
