So I swapped out my standard leafs today for a set of Tremor leafs.

You'll need 18 and 21mm sockets and a torque wrench. You may also need a 21mm box end wrench for the front mounting bolt.

Use your head and use jackstands of course

A few notes:

Driver side leaf has a shim. Passenger side does not.

The Tremor leaf pack is heavier and taller. Remember that when you go to install it as even though you may have had enough clearance to remove the factory leaf, the Tremor leaf will need more room.

The Tremor U bolts are longer and the shackles have a different part number than the FX4 shackles so I used the Tremor units.

I already had the Bilstein 5100s on the rear of my truck. Paired with these leafs and with the 5100s in front as well the ride is terrific.

My suspension is now done. I could probably get even more improvement by spending a lot more $$$$ but I see no need for it.

I am 100% pleased with this setup.

It didn't raise the rear at all. It measured the same before and after.

However, when you're working with the leafs you can feel that the multileaf pack is more compliant. You're able to bend it more to line things up than the monoleaf could be bent.

Kind of surprised me because before install I sat them both on the concrete and pushed down on the leaf packs and they felt very similar.

It wasn't until I was lining up the rear shackels that I notice how much more compliant they were.

Thanks for the write up except now I can’t rely on your updates about the 5100s up front since it won’t match my rear leafs!

Where did you purchase the tremor leafs?

Are you off-roading with them?

How long did the swap take you?

I bought the leafs from a member here on the site.

This truck will see forestry service roads at the most. I use my Jeep for more gnarly stuff as I'm less afraid of scratching it ?. I'm looking more for a better ride than extreme performance so these are perfect.

I started at 4:30 and was done at 7:00, taking my time and getting interrupted several times.

Great write up!
Does the truck feel more planted, especially in curves, turns?
Compared to the stock springs with the 5100’s

I've only put a few miles on them, but so far yes to all the questions.

I know it hard to tell but are the Tremor shackles longer than the FX4 ones? Looks a little like it in the picture. Did you measure them?

Interesting I've always heard that the Tremor leafs provide half an inch of height.

EDIT: OP confirmed he gained half an inch of height in the rear with the Tremor leafs.

After putting some miles on them, it looks like I did gain about 1/2 inch in lift.

I also measured the shackles and they are identical in length to the FX4 shackles.

Ok thanks, that is what I've always seen from others.
