The engine on my Accord is over 310k and still just as strong as ever. Doesn't smoke, starts easily in the dead of winter, still runs like a raped ape.No transmission should have a service interval of 150k. Same with the lifetime antifreeze makes no sense to not change them. With proper maintenance changing fluids regularly most cars should last 150 to 200k. The manufactures have the service intervals (10k oil changes) designed to get past warranty then have major issues from lack of service. People then buy a new vehicle. I like to keep my vehicles for at least 15 to 20 years.
We just won't talk about the transmission(s).
Point is, spot on with the regular maintenance. It has had timing belts on time, valve last adjusted by the book, and continues to be a real trooper.
