So, after correcting my mistakes everything is good with my truck again.
After test drive RR rotor is still slightly warmer that the other 3 but only by 10° or so. Not going to worry about that.
Thanks again to airline tech and rangerbill.
Have to agree with landiscarrier, it is a strange design.
Airline tech was correct.
I swapped the inner and outer pads.
Dammit. Wasted $150 I can't get back. So that sucks
Thank you to Airline Tech
Thank you to everyone who responded.
I am sort of suspecting the same however I already replaced the caliper with fomoco new caliper and symptoms are exactly the same.
This weekend I am going to remove the cable from the p-brake lever completely and see if that changes anything.
I am also going to recheck the slider pins but...

I bought this truck new march 2020. Never had any problems or repairs until now.
This is the second time I have replaced rear pads and rotors. Replaced all pads and rotors April 2022 . Had no problems the first time.
Recently rotated my tires and discovered that my rear brakes were super...

Be a cheap ass and you will have engine problems related to oil fuel dilution.
Your choice.
Timely oil changes are a hedge against future problems.
Which is...
If I had it to do all over again I would not buy the FP tune. It's cost (I bought from Levittown cheapest at the time) combined with the added cost of always buying premium compared to the power gains achieved. I say it ain't worth the money.
Ranger is plenty fast bone stock.
FP tune doesn't...
Why not just let the system do what it's designed to do?
Which is to save you money on gas.
Ford paid a bunch of mech/elec/fluid/sftwr engineers a bunch of money for many years to bring this truck to market and have it pretty close to perfect.
Ford wanted to show that the 2.3 is up to the...
Does any know what the paint code or specific name is of that orange/red color on the tremor grill accents?
Old school poppy red / competition orange like the stroupe Baja broncos?
Looks a bit more red to me
