I agree with you about the quality of Motorcraft replacements and use Motorcraft oil and filters in the Ranger. But opted to get the Wix Air Filter because of a better price.Dont forget that the factory Motocraft air filter does just fine too. I ran them for a while until I switched to AEM air filter(just a drop in replacement) and had no problems with dirt and dust getting by.
Organic!Looks like some flaky good ole oats there ?
Dealer changed the engine filter the other day, I checked when I got home and it was a Wix.I think I read somewhere that Wix makes the OEM filter for Ford, but I could be wrong.
The only reason for that is they were most likely out of the factory Motocraft filter. No need to read into it muchDealer changed the engine filter the other day, I checked when I got home and it was a Wix.
My 19 does not have the glove box damper, so I figure the tailgate don't need one either. Some 2020's still had the glovebox damper. If yours does you have to take that off first.
Larry, I thought all the 2019's had it? You don't know what you're missing. ?My 19 does not have the glove box damper, so I figure the tailgate don't need one either.
I know what I would be missing. and also $$$.Larry, I thought all the 2019's had it? You don't know what you're missing. ?
The Wix I put in had noticeably more pleats than the Motorcraft filter. That said I would be fine using a Motorcraft filter.I think I read somewhere that Wix makes the OEM filter for Ford, but I could be wrong.
My 20 doe's not have a Glove Box Damper...but this compensates for the muscle loss from my Tailgate Damper!Larry, I thought all the 2019's had it? You don't know what you're missing. ?
