Snugtop Rebel with a windoor and slider. Thinking to sell, dog doesn’t seem to like it.

Yeah, my dog wouldn't be caught dead riding in the bed. She's a little Deva! ?

Which is higher, the antenna or the cap?

I really like it! A couple of quality issues from the start, but apparently that's the case with either brand. And the only one of those issues that has caused concern is the lack of adequate sealing in some areas, but that was easily fixed by adding what's leftover of the tailgate seal I added. I've added a handful of personal mods to make it even more useful. The extra covered storage space has already come in handy so many times!

The truck is backed into the garage due to severe storm threats right now, so I can't get an up close rear picture. But hopefully this one from when I installed the roof rack will suffice. I can take plenty more, from any/all angles, if you'd like.

So I'm still debating whether to get the 100XR. Just about the last thing I'm wondering about is the visibility once you have it mounted. I've never had a cap before so I'm wondering if you completely lose use of the rearview mirror once the cap is there or if you can still see through all the glass but everything just looks darker?

Generally for most toppers you still have rear view mirror use, just darker. Still visible to me plenty. I have the are cx classic.

I've lost most visibility for two reasons
1. I limo tinted the cap windows for security
2. I'm old

An update on Leer vs ARE. If you go back to post #100 and another thread in late 2019 you can find our frustration with Leer building 6' topper for the SCab. They might make decent toppers but their customer service sucks so it's not worth the $100 savings.

And to "top" it off I just had the rear window of my ARE replaced outside of the 1 year warranty, no charge. The electrical contacts for the lock fell off so instead of gluing them back on I got a new door (which is glass), no questions asked. It still ticks me off about Leer but no worries now I'm a lifetime ARE customer.

I too was a first time topper user, though I'm also a first time truck owner too. And adding the topper does reduce the visibility. I was disappointed at first, but after a while you just get used to it. Not only is it the double tint, but it's also the handle/lock system of the rear window with the one latch electronic handle on the 100XR. I've honestly gotten to the point where I barely use the rearview mirror anymore, and just use the side mirrors when driving and the backup camera when reversing. It helps that I drove a vehicle for a long time without a rearview mirror though too, so I'm kind of used to that already.

Here's a shot I took almost a year ago out the rear window. The car behind is in a parking spot across an aisle for reference.
