    it drives me nuts i still love the truck but id love it more without this noise, feel a lot better knowing its common with these trucks and not a problem with the motor or anything serious, i hope lol

    I just recently started hearing a whining noise when I accelerate from a completes stop. I was worried since I have brought my stx to 4000 rpms and drove it 90mph and it is yet to reach 500 miles, is this noise normal? should i take it to ford?
