This doesn't exist anymore though. Go in to a dealer and try to negotiate a deal. They'll tell you to piss off because someone will come in and pay their inflated prices. Fixed pricing means you'd get to pay what you should have. Deals don't exist in today's market, just like cash is worse than financing.
Understood, I just provided my "Thoughts" on the topic of "Fixed Pricing"

This!

3.5 years later and it's still worth more than I paid for it.

And still not looking to sell it.

But I do check the cash offers now and then...
I checked my Carvana offer just for kicks a little over a week ago, and it was a couple thousand below what I paid for it in Jan 2020. I just got an email from them saying that in the past days, the value has gone up by $4323. I could sell my truck today for over a thousand dollars more (including all taxes and value of my trade-in) than I bought it for nearly three and a half years ago!

I know, I was just adding my thoughts to the discussion. I'd love to be able to 'haggle' prices to a win/win scenario, but right now, winning is not getting absolutely blasted above MSRP. My biggest complaint is that people are too stupid to stop paying the inflated prices. Dealers would have to adjust back to reasonable if people stopped buying above MSRP. Not a single Bronco owner can tell me that it was a necessity for them to have the vehicle right now and they were forced to pay those prices. They wanted the vehicle and they paid out the ass to get it.

Speak of the devil.

I just got an email from Carvana and they increased their offer by $2900.

It's been a long time but I seem to recall that there was a major disruption to supply chains when a 'fifteen days to flatten the curve' turned into two+ years. Anyone else remember that?

Nope. Can’t recall that chain of events. I’m calling fake news.
