They're attempting to limit your tire choice to the orignal tire manufacturer spec

Anyone heard of this? Ca is forcing vehicle owners to only install the original tires sizes that came on your vehicle.

Crazy but it's CA so it doesn't surprise me in the least! Sounds like it's more about control than anything. The government there does everything they can to put the screws to the working man I don't know how anyone can live there. Insanely high prices for everything and the gas tax just went up again after closing down 2 refineries.

That's a great idea for saving energy . Plus it will give manufacturers a chance to upcharge for models with larger tires. Insurance companies look at the tire size after an accident now anyway.

California doesn't know the meaning of that! Just look at their gun laws and all the restrictions. Let's see what happens now with the SCOTUS ruling. I'm sure nothing because they don't care.

Didn't watch more than 1 minute of the video, I do know some replacement tire shops won't install tires that are considered unsafe for the vehicles size, weight and performance, I had to sign a waiver yrs back to install H rated tires on my Ford SHO, instead of the higher speed rating tires the car came with. I imagine the low rider community won't be happy if such a law passes. Also many states have laws that prohibit tires sticking out from the wheel wells - it's rarely enforced but it's for safety - controlling splashback on a wet road, I see a lot of dimwits in Colorado that completely ignore that law so if it takes tire shops to prevent that I'm in favor. I think it will be a difficult law to enforce if passed.

This is just another reason on our long list why we’re planning on leaving CA as soon as physically possible.

Before I get myself in trouble here, all I’m going to say is that we’re DONE with this state. My wife and I have both lived here our whole lives, we can’t take anymore of this BS. We’re absolutely done with this place. As soon as I get job locked down, we’re gone.

I just heard the Gov of Florida state that Florida now has 4 million more residents than New York, with less than half of the budget! He stated that the NYC budget alone was greater than the entire Florida State budget.

Said Florida had superior infrastructure, roads, medical care, cheaper housing, and less unemployment.... not to mention more freedom. And he had the data to prove it.

No income tax, they did have a sales tax, but food, medical care /drugs, and child care products were exempt.

I halfway want to move back there. Taxes have been creeping up here in NC.
