The Venetian Hotel (below) has the same thing. One minute you're walking through the casino and then you enter into a huge area that looks like you're in Italy. Most of the ceiling is continuous and it's really amazing how large it is and how it looks so real.

Thanks Tracy. It was fun to walk around and see everything without be so overcrowded....now I think I need a vacation to get over this one. lol Going to Vegas was a last minute decision and with most hotels having huge discounts we figured we'd stopped for a coupled days as we pass right by there on our way home.

I took this picture a couple of weeks ago in my backyard.. Those are walnuts and he is getting ready to bury them. I think this means we are in for a very bad winter!

I remember watching them do this when I was back east. It was bad enough winter was coming but now the possibility of it being worse was just depressing.

Hey you should catch the little rodent and use him as a damper....He's almost the right size and with a few mods I bet it would work.

Hi Folks,

These picutres are from Cedar Breaks National Park...not very well known and over powered by Bryce Canyon, but just as spectacular...and they have the oldest living plants on this earth...the Bristle Cone Pine. The park starts at 10,000 ft and the hike is down to 9,000 ft, Margie really struggled on the return trip with her compromised lung condition...


Hoodoo abound.

Every fall I take several of them out with an air rifle. They are thick here and have done some significant damage to our deck. I'll send them in a plastic bag to you if you want to damperize them.

Left Utah this morning and stopped in Sin City for a couple days, staying at Treasure Island. I haven't been here in 30 years, it's really built up a lot. Place is dead though with no shows going on yet, only the casinos and bars open. It is nice to walk around and not be crammed like sardines though.

Hmm... they changed the jersey to Raiders from the Golden Knights. I like the Golden Knights jersey better. Vegas is like my second home (my sister lives there).

Just stumbled across more pix...these are of The Moeraki Boulders in New Zealand

Being born....

These boulders are still baffling Scientists on how they formed. Most are between 5ft to 6ft in diameter...
