The alarm beep/horn noise on 2nd press on lock key remote

Hello everyone,

I just bought my 2019 Ranger XL STX out of the lease, I was leasing it and give it a try for 3 years which is my first pick up. I fell in love with it in the end!
Now I am trying to figure out how to stop this beep/horn loud noise when I press my key remote 2 times, it annoys the neighborhoods and my friends however I want to ensure the security is set for my Ranger. I am Deaf, I can't hear and understand how painful that loud noise for them to hear. I am willing to figure out and stop this loud noise, I only found one information however I am not sure if that's correct, which is why I am writing here to ask around.

You could use the Ford app and that way there wouldn't be any beeping noise. This way you'll also get a visual that the doors were locked/unlocked and the remote start worked.

I don't think you can but the lights flash after 1 hit and fordpass will do it and you get confirmation in the app and visually from the truck to lock. The single short beep from the horn when you press it twice is not overly loud or obnoxious and literally just about every car does the same thing when you press lock a couple times if they are complaining about it they need to grow up and you should not be afraid to stand up for yourself as well its not a pain and its not annoying if you want annoying, my neighbor peels out early af in his straight piped Ferrari 488 and for the first 3 times it was cool cause I am a car guy but time number four it got annoying pretty fast. They need to grow up and stop hassling you, you are super nice and considerate trying and thinking about them and Ii definitely applaud you for that and respect that but its really a non issue I wouldn't lose sleep over it

Think first press locks the doors and second with the confirmation beep is arming alarm if you have one. Like others have said, everyone is using alarms these days with the way things are. If some are offended by that to bad.

One press is sufficient to lock and set the alarm. If you wait three seconds you can press it again without a horn honk. I believe it is documented in the owners manual.
