Maybe they will just extend it to the 5 yr like older vehicles before 2019.

Once again another company will be trying to profit off of services after the sale. Welcome to 2019 I guess. Sadly it'll probably be some absurd charge like $20 a month or maybe $150 a year if you purchase it for a whole year.

If it's much over $50 a year for the basic service after the trial runs out I will not renew it and just live without it.

I paid $180 for a 3 year premium plan with Drone Mobile for my 2016 Focus. It has more features than FordPass. If FordPass is more than $30 a year it's not worth it, at least to me. .

GM offers it free. Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep charges $19.95 per month after the 12 month free trial.

Reading the Wrangler JL forums (I also have an 18 Wrangler) it doesn't sound like it. uConnect is very slow to respond. It takes around 5 minutes for a remote start to respond to the app. Ford Pass and GM GM OnStar work a lot better.

Ouch... That's spendy for basic vehicle services. If that's what Ford charges I'll just go without it after the trial runs out.

My window sticker indicates the hot spot is free for three months which I assume you need for Ford Pass.
