You can love it or hate it, but every time I've shown my truck to someone when I pop the handle on the tailgate and it just settles down so smooth I *always* get a response like "ooohh... that's really nice!" from whoever is looking at the truck. Make fun of my wimpy arms all you like, but this little mod adds a nice touch of civility to this truck - one that I think Ford should have included from the factory... especially on the Lariat models.

?Hood struts don't add structure to the hood.

Hood struts do, however, serve a useful purpose.

No you'll need a T50 bit.

I couldn't find mine so I borrowed one from my neighbor. Mine is probably hiding somewhere with my 10mm sockets that always seem to disappear. ?
