Tailgate emblem request

I just replaced my tailgate emblem on my 21 Ranger and it doesn’t seem to set flush with the tailgate. Could someone take a pic of theirs like from the top of the tailgate? I put the original one back one and it’s the same. I would appreciate the help. Thanks

Where did you order your replacement emblem? I ordered one from Levittown and waiting for the part. I am hoping that I will not have the same issue.

Yeah probably should have ordered from Ford to say the least. They even have the black emblems available through Ford Performance

I didn’t want the chrome on my emblem that’s why I went with the one I purchased.

Yep, there is a space. Looks normal, as mine was the same when I swapped them out. In a few days you won't notice is as much. - I get it though, the OCD goes off the scale with this kinda stuff.
