Red Ford Oval Tailgate & Grill Emblem Replacement

Hey All,

I was hoping to tap into the general knowledge base. - I came across this Ruby Red Ford Oval Tailgate Emblem on another Ford Ranger and thought it looked awesome. Not the typical blacked out version that everybody seems to be flocking to and it really stands out. Since seeing it, I've looked everywhere for it and have only found other images, but no sellers. Hoping to see if anyone else has come across them, or perhaps this is some sort of DIY wizardry?

I have seen where people have taken the emblem off, took them apart (not hard, but a gentle hand is needed along with patience) and they have either custom painted, or vinyl wrapped them.

Not a Ranger, but probably similar.

The tailgate emblem is $16 at Levittown Ford (so guessing near the same at most Ford dealers)... buy one, disassemble and paint, reassemble, and install.

As he did in the video, broke a tab taking it off... avoid the hassle.

Hey, you're right. I'm showing $18 but that's not my point. I didn't even bother to look it up because...

How can a much more complex 'Ford' badge be so cheap, when the black fender '5.0' emblem is $61.03?
(I needed to replace mine a few years ago.) It's just an all black hunk-o-plastic. But has a red dot.

Tailgate Emblem - Ford (CL3Z-9942528-B)

I don't know if all tailgate emblems have the provision for the backup camera as on a Lariat but the link provided is what comes up when you search Google for: "2019 ford ranger tailgate emblem replacement"

Regarding the 5.0 emblem... that's what bragging rights costs...
Ford will give a big discount if you advertize their name.
