Did the alignment end up being off at all?
Got it aligned today, just the Toe was off. We'll see if my mileage comes back up any.

Nobody has had an issue with using the factory FX4 shocks with the collars, extending the range 2" and all?

Is the alignment back to factory specs or are there modified specs specific for these collars?

Had the leveling collars installed today and got exactly 2" of lift as advertised.

FYI: Front measurement from ground to wheel well is now 37 5/8" and rear is 38 5/8". Running board front measurement to ground is 16" and rear is 16 1/4". Which means anything more than a 2 1/2" front lift puts your running boards running downhill towards the rear of the truck; meaning not level. Having equal front and rear wheel well measurements is not level, it means front sits higher.

Installed the collars today. Went from 28.5” to close to 30.75”. Very pleased with the turn out. As a novice to intermediate DIY hobbyist, I’d say this was closer to intermediate due to the spring compression. The spring compressors are only about $25 on Amazon so it’s definitely worth an attempt if your up for the challenge. Hope the pictures help you gauge wether or not you want to try it yourself. I’ll add that compressing the springs would be much easier with a hydraulic press. I had a second set of hands which also made it manageable. Hats off to SVC for making a quality product. It’s beefy, aesthetically pleasing and looks built to last. I highly recommend!

Guys, be careful with these $25 dollar spring compressors. As you see in the picture the bolt is bending. If that spring is removed from strut and it becomes uncaged the spring will get very angry! Stay safe and enjoy your trucks. Bret

Cape, is right. I winced with every turn on the first spring compression. I read lots of reviews and made sure the tool was rated for far higher resistance than I was putting in through although it bent nonetheless. Shop thoroughly on a spring compressor and wear a face shield!

Unfortunately the better options for spring compressors are in the $800ish range ...

For the backyard mechanic I think spring compression will always remain a thrill...
I try to have a 2nd vehicle when i do work that needs a spring compressor i take the assemblies up to my local tire kingdom or somewhere like that and the guys will usually do it for $40 cash real quick with the wall mounted unit they have.
