Cape, is right. I winced with every turn on the first spring compression. I read lots of reviews and made sure the tool was rated for far higher resistance than I was putting in through although it bent nonetheless. Shop thoroughly on a spring compressor and wear a face shield!

Installed the collars today. Went from 28.5” to close to 30.75”. Very pleased with the turn out. As a novice to intermediate DIY hobbyist, I’d say this was closer to intermediate due to the spring compression. The spring compressors are only about $25 on Amazon so it’s definitely worth an...
